This is common for his rallies. I’ve seen his advertising for “actors” many times, for $50 cash. Maybe the price has gone up because he’s lost so many followers.
I don’t know if these people are actually paid, but considering that he doesn’t pay the venues I’d be surprised if they are. The rules have never applied to him.
