Last week I howled with despair as I confessed the irrelative misery I suffered— writer’s block.

**And so I pledged to act by sinking my quill**
**into inconsistent ink.**

As such, I offer you the much anticipated

Sci-Fi Haiku

Alien Date Night

Inky sky shimmers
Inscrutable looming glow
**Passion has returned**

… less compelling than the idea.

I’ve been orbiting the Milky Way for some time now ~ faster than a speeding bullet but slower than molasses ~ if you get my drift. There’s a lot of space out here. And then, and then, Lydia, you write the most beautiful haiku I’ve ever read. Thank you so much for sharing!
