What to complain about today? There is so much corruption and there are so many lies in government right now that I can’t pick a topic to write about, and I don’t want to.
I don’t want to write about the Wisconsin primary election. Democratic Governor Tony Evers tried to postpone it, due to his stay at home order, in response to COVID19, but the Supreme Court in a 5-4 vote overruled him and the election is underway.
What’s the big deal? The postponement would have allowed extra time for 500,000 voters who did not receive their requested absentee ballots to vote. Also, because no one wants to get sick, volunteer poll workers are hard to come by; the result was that Milwaukee, the state’s biggest city had only five polling stations open— that’s 103 fewer than normal. Lines have been wrapped around blocks all day. Consider the elderly and disabled who are not physically able to stand in those lines for hours.
This is voter suppression plain and simple, and we know that’s what Republicans want, because, as CRETIN45 said just last week, if everyone votes, the GOP doesn’t stand a chance. This election is a primary between Biden and Sanders, but there are also bipartisan judicial elections of great consequence. Trump has endorsed a conservative state Supreme Court justice hours after the court overturned Governor Evers decision.

How can you “be safe,” and “VOTE” in a crowded polling station during a pandemic? This is a taste of what we can expect in November.
Speaking of the Supreme Court, Brett I (like beer) SCOTUS Kavanaugh has never explained how he paid off his three credit card debts that totaled somewhere between $60,000 and $200,000. He never explained who paid the loan against his retirement account, or his $92,000 country-club fee. And how did the Kavanaughs pay for their $1,225,000 home? I’d like to know because I have some bills that I’d like to disappear too.
I don’t want to complain about this anymore.
Let’s not discuss the Pandemic-Potus’ firing of the Inspector General whose job it was to oversee the distribution of the $2 trillion relief fund approved by Congress. Trump intends to play favorites, and cary out vendettas using taxpayer funded relief. He did the same thing with ventilators and other safety equipment.
Waaaa “that woman” from Michigan wasn’t nice to me- so no ventilators for her. Cuomo is going to indict me as soon as I lose the election- so no ventilators for New York. Trump will also use the money for personal business, even though it was specified in the bill that he could not- you know he will.
Despite the good news that Representative Adam Schiff has informed acting DNI Richard Grenell that the House Intelligence Committee is investigating Trump’s firing of Inspector General Michael Atkinson, I don’t want to talk about this.
How about we don’t talk about the biggest word in COVFEFE45’s vocabulary —hydroxychloroquine. He uses the word like his press briefings are informercials.

“They, say take it.” You know who “they” are; they are the many voices in Trump’s head of imaginary people who say what he wants you to believe. There is no evidence that the drug does anything to combat the virus, but it has caused fatal heart attacks in some who took it for that purpose.
Okay, take a seat, and maybe a half a hydro-whatever, because I have a shock for you: Trump and many republicans in Congress have financial ties to the pharmaceutical company Novartis that makes hydroxychloroquine. Shocking, I know.
Maybe tomorrow I won’t complain about this administration’s treatment of whistleblowers, like Naval Captain Crozier who was fired as commander of the carrier Theodore Roosevelt. He along with 230 sailors aboard his ship have tested positive for the virus, and the government didn’t want to help them.
There is always something new not to want to write about.

Apparently he offered to send help to UK (in the form of medicine) for Boris Johnson. The Brit’s declined his offer. I hope your optimism pays off, but he is already planning to use the pandemic in his favour as only he could, by lying, blaming and creating confusion.

I live in Wisconsin and this is the biggest load of crap. It’s all about getting Daniel Kelly reelected. The Republicans usually try and do this stuff behind the scenes. Not anymore. They all out don’t care how many people will get sick and possibly die to get their way. I certainly hope this isn’t a preview of what’s to come in November. Wisconsin is one of the worst states for gerrymandering. The Republicans’ goal is to get 200k+ voters kicked off the voter rolls come November. They know Wisconsin is going to be crucial to the election. These people will have blood on their hands.

I hope we can turn this around somehow. Republican’s behavior in 2018 should have inspired everyone to vote today, but they found a way to make it impossible.

Our state returned a bunch of ventilators. The ones the US government sent aren’t effective for treating COVID19. They do not have enough pressure. They’ve mostly been using the US government provided ventilators to free up ones that are strong enough by substituting them for people on respirators that don’t have COVID19.
