Senate Majority has Chosen “An Assistant”

Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine.

The GOP mystery guest is… Arizona prosecutor Rachel Mitchell from Maricopa County in Phoenix, the place most of us never heard of until Trump pardoned Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who had been convicted of criminal contempt of court. Now the place conjures an image of clumsy, loud, racist officials, drunk with power.

Mitchel has been chosen by the senate majority to ask questions for 11 irritated men, who don’t want to appear insensitive and misogynistic… like they are but, who want to “plow through this” and get to the vote. They have chosen Brett Kavanaugh to be the next Supreme Court Justice, and no matter how many women come forward, with witnesses to corroborate his sexual assaulted against them, he will be the next Supreme Court Justice.

The proceedings scheduled for Thursday are strictly theater, as the vote has been scheduled for Friday regardless of how convincingly Dr Blasey Ford testifies. No other victims will be heard, nor will any of Ford’s witnesses.

Rachel Mitchel will do the job the 11 Republican men are paid by tax payer dollars to do. They’re hiding behind an “assistant,” what these Republican senate men call a prosecuting attorney with a vagina. Their hope is to change the “optics, from 11 men attacking a victim of sexual assault, to the “assistant” of 11 men, attacking a victim of sexual assault. Make no mistake, she will be attacking the victim of sexual assault on their behalf, and she has many years of experience doing just that.

The thing is, these 11 men don’t really care how this looks. They must know no one is fooled by their attempts to paint a serial sexual assailant as a choir boy… but it doesn’t matter because the GOP is a solid unit.

These delusional octogenarian men, who should have retired decades ago, (and the younger Senator Lee), should reflect on their reasons for going into politics and ask themselves why they chose the Slitherin of political parties.

As this “assistant” questions Dr Ford, Trump will be distracting us, by either threatening to fire, or actually firing Rod Rosenstein.

Dr Ford, who has been tormented for the past 35 years by her memories of Kavanaugh’s attack will be questioned on live television.
