Brett Kavanaugh’s Third Accuser Has Come Forward

New Kavanaugh accuser Julie Swetnick details parties where girls allegedly were drugged and raped

Donald Trump’s Supreme Court Nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, officially has a third accuser. Julie Swetnick, a 55 year old a resident of Washington, D.C., 1980 graduate of Gaithersburg High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland, who has had multiple security clearances for her work for: the U.S. Treasury Department, the U.S. Mint, the IRS, the State Department, the Justice Department, etc.

She details high school parties where girls were drugged and gang raped, she was among the victims.

Brett Kavanaugh must be investigated, and if these claims are found to be true, not only must Kavanaugh’s career end, he needs to be charged for these crimes, along with his friend, Mark Judge, and any other participants.

What is the GOP reaction? They’ve scheduled a vote to confirm Kavanaugh for tomorrow morning at 9:00.

To be fair to Kavanaugh, he has an alibi—

This Sunday, September 30, 2018, the ‘Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act’ will expire. This legislation was enacted to end domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

Republicans voted against renewing it.

Is anyone else disgusted with our government?

  1. Oh, yeah, I’ve been disgusted with it ever since the Religious Right hijacked the Republican Party, all politicians became beholden to corporations and the super-wealthy, and Grover Norquist and his corrupt agency convinced Americans that taxes are evil.

I just finished reading Tailspin: The People and Forces Behind America’s Fifty-Year Fall–and Those Fighting to Reverse It. It is excellent, balanced, enlightening, and inspiring. I highly recommend it to you, Lydia.

    1. I’ll definitely read it. I’m ready for some light reading🤔 I’m sure it’s the opposite of light reading, but it sounds like something I’d like. I suppose things have to get bad for the masses to snap out of complacency.
If this doesn’t do it… I don’t know what will.

  2. Cosby is just one in a long line of mysoginistic men who should be handcuffed and marched into jail. I find it difficult to believe this is happening, with the evidence mounting around him, how can this man be voted in tomorrow. He should be being arrested tomorrow (or better still today).

    1. He should be! This shows how corrupt Trump and his enablers in congress are. Apparently there are 4 senators who are wavering, and if all the democrats vote no only 2 Republicans voting no will end this. I hope these victims file charges.

      1. Me too, they (the women involved) have taken the hardest step in opening this can of worms to the public (something I’m sure each one of them would have preferred not to do). Perhaps with the numbers getting higher something can be done. I’m hoping there are some senators with the ‘balls’ to do it.

  3. I’ve been watching the senate judicial committee perform during these current hearings for Brett Kavanagh to ascend to a life time judicial position on the Supreme Court , it’s been gripping and humiliating for both Dr Ford and Kavanaugh and highly uncomfortable to see these two people have to expose themselves to the world. Both were credible but Dr Ford has no axe to grind , just an event that has affected her life, a highly academic and erudite survivor, her honesty seems to have turned the Supreme Court upside down. My thoughts are right now are bravo Jeff Flake for having the courage to dissent and ask for the FBI hearing that should have been ordered by the President as soon as Dr Fords allegations became public. It’s inconceivable that this has been played out in public. Ko

    1. I hope he holds his ground. The investigation has to be approved by Mitch McConnell and Chuck GrASSley. The only way they’ll approve it is if Jeff Flake has at least 1 Republican Senator who agrees. There will be arm twisting before it happens.
I have read that it is expected several senators will agree with him, they didn’t want to be the one, on record, who suggested it. This is so corrupt.
And what is going on with the newly psychotic Lindsey Graham, calling Ford’s testimony “garbage” and telling senators “If I’m chairman of this committee next year I’ll remember and you’ll be sorry.” He needs a straight jacket and a sedative.
