GOP Florida Senator Mark Rubio says shooters “will find a way to get the gun.” He also says “gun restrictions would not have prevented the mass shooting” at a high school in his home state.

That response was purchased by the NRA for $176,030 in campaign donations in 2016.

Senator Thom Tillis has earned $169,923 NRA dollars… “thoughts and prayers.”

Paul Ryan says: “Don’t make Florida school shooting conversation about taking away people’s guns.” — NRA paid $171,977 for that sentiment.

Ted Cruz says— “The reaction of Democrats to any tragedy is to try to politicize it. So they immediately start calling that we’ve got to take away the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.”

Cruz also says the families of victims don’t want tougher gun laws, and he sends them thoughts and prayers.

I would venture to say the families of the victims don’t want Ted Cruz’s thoughts and prayers.

The NRA pumped $1,865,924 into congress in 2016, and they get what they pay for in loyalty.

In the rest of the world, where the NRA does not own the government, there have been a total of 18 school shootings in the past twenty years.

The NRA says “guns don’t kill people.” We could say the NRA kills people, or we could say the GOP kills people.

Congress uses the 2nd amendment to defend their refusal to change gun laws.

The 2nd amendment was written during the time of single shot muzzle loaded rifles. Would they have argued for the right to bear assault rifles?

The weapon of choice this week in Parkland Florida was an AR-15 assault rifle.
