This bill bounces back to the ever-vacationing House of Representatives for its last passage, expected on Wednesday. They need to put away their inflatable rafts and return to D.C. for the vote. Anticipating seeing lawmakers doing what they’re paid for is overwhelming. I can’t wait.

I hate to attack my party, but giving in to a bully is WEAK. Republicans get everything they want in exchange for a “promise” of healthcare. (In two weeks.) This is no compromise—it’s surrender. We the people, our voices, should have been heard on Election Day with voting results. It’s time to clean House, the Senate, and the Executive branch. They don’t care about us.
If the House passes the bill, House Speaker Mike Johnson will need a new excuse not to swear in the Democrat elected in September, Adelita Grijalva, the last vote needed to demand the release of the Epstein files.

The total lack of enthusiasm in Senator Durbin’s voice says he all. He knows this is crap. Thune can promise all he wants, but ACA is not happening.
So I guess the $2000 Trump is promising every American (except the well-off) will mean no more truffle potatoes and no more Great Gatsby parties. ☹️
It sounds like a lot of money for those who have and know nothing, but it’s short sighted. The young, healthy, anti-vax crowd don’t realize how much it costs to be sick.
