Many voters are unaware of just how bad their healthcare is about to get. Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” has scheduled some cuts to go into effect after the election. This is by design. He wants you to vote without that information. While Democrats work to increase public services, this Republican majority passed the felon’s bill that will kick millions off Medicaid and extend tax cuts for the rich. One example: On 1/1/2027, Trump’s BBB adds work requirements to qualify for Medicaid. Cancer patients and survivors are not exempt. Medicaid is meant to support the low-income and the unemployed. BBB negates the purpose of Medicaid. Healthcare should not be tied to your job.
This administration has diminished programs that serve our interests. We have taxation without representation.
We have all felt the adverse effects of this administration.
Our quality of life is diminished, and we owe that to Donald Trump’s policies, his political donors, and the members of Congress and the Supreme Court, who carry out his agenda. Browse a history book. Republicans in power lower taxes on the rich. Trump has taken that to a new level that ensures the rich pay nothing and gives them our money. Elon Musk’s business empire is built on $38 billion in government funding. He entered this country under the false pretense of a student visa. He never attended school but stayed illegally.
Republicans launch wars. Trump, the draft dodger who mocks the military, has done so on behalf of Israel, also benefiting Russia.
Are you old enough to remember when a Democratic president gave us the ACA? It could have been a better program if not for the Republican Congress, who fought every line item. Ninety-one years ago, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, a Democrat, established Social Security. 1935 was also the year the Labor Relations Act was enacted, securing workers' right to organize.
We can afford to fund the same universal healthcare system that exists in all other industrialized nations. Where else in the world do people need to crowdsource to pay medical bills that the government should provide using our tax dollars? Instead, our money goes to Israel, where healthcare is provided, as are munitions use against unarmed Palestinians. The issue is that the payoffs that control our politicians has shifted their priorities. Those who have taken “donations” from insurance companies, big pharma, oil corporations, and Israel have turned away from you and toward their bank accounts. What promises politicians told you to gain your votes may have been true during their campaigns, but they fails to correspond with their allegiance in D.C.
Political ads are gaslighting propaganda. I only turn on my television to watch football, and it is shocking to me that it’s legal to manipulate tapes and reverse facts, regardless of who paid for the ad. The thing is that most attack ads that target Democrats are paid for by, if you follow the money, Donald Trump. (Taxpayers.)
I’ve seen ads accusing Democratic candidates of causing the problems related to AI data centers. These facilities use vast amounts of water and electricity funded by the community, expose nearby residents to constant noise, and can severely reduce surrounding property values, often by half. These homeowners can’t afford to move.
Data centers need permits and approval from the government. These deals are made without public knowledge. Blaming political candidates without considering who approves these projects and who benefits from them is absurd. Communities deserve accountability, not propaganda that deflects blame.
