A Week for the Good Guys

America’s war between decency and corruption seems to have taken a turn. The good guy has had a winning week. It’s been a long time coming, so enjoy.

Last year: Parents goaded by GOP rhetoric sued Merrick Garland over a memorandum he issued to school boards. The memo referenced “an alarming spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff who take part in the vital work of running our nation’s public schools.” He instructed Justice Department divisions to coordinate with local law enforcement.

This week: A Trump appointed judge dismissed the case.

Last week: Trump demanded a “Special Master” to inspect secret documents that he declassified via mental telepathy, but were planted by the FBI, that he wants back, but didn’t take or have…

This week: Said Special Master (who Trump demanded and chose,) Judge Dearie, is giving Donald one week, until 9/30/2022, to prove the FBI planted or tampered with the classified documents found at Trump’s property. He also wants proof that Trump declassified anything. (crickets)

Cherrie on top: Donald must pay $500 per hour for Dearie’s “help.”

[laugh break] 🤣😂😂😂🤣😅

Last week: Women in Indiana were forced to cross state lines to have an abortion for any reason. Death by sepsis because of an unviable fetus was just one way republicans politicians were able to lord over women.

This week: A judge has blocked enforcement of Indiana’s abortion ban, saying it violates the state’s constitution.

Last three and a half years: New York Attorney General Tish Jones investigated Trump corporation. We lost hope… sigh.

This week: James delivered more than promised. She filed a civil fraud lawsuit against Trump, his three oldest spawn, former CFO-Allen Weisselberg, and longtime company executive-Jeff McConney.

Civil cases only need to prove conduct was fraudulent or illegal by a preponderance of the evidence. The state of New York is seeking $250 million in recompense, and to permanently bar Trump and all those named in the lawsuit from serving as directors of any business registered in New York state. It also seeks to cancel the Trump Organization’s corporate certificate, the result of which would be to cease operations.

James added, possible criminal charges will be referred to SDNY, Treasury and IRS.

Last six years: Gridlock in congress has blocked any kind of election reform or security.

This week: The House passed, by a vote of 229-203, the Presidential Election Reform Act, which prevents efforts to subvert presidential election vote counts.

Last week: Ron DeSantis was an asshole who lured legal Venezuelan immigrants onto an airplane, promising them employment, food, shelter, and a fast track to citizenship. A videographer was onboard to garner footage to be used by DeSantis for his political ads. Oh, there were not enough immigrants in Florida to round up to achieve the desired optics, so the chartered flight stopped in Texas to pick up more. The stunt was billed to Florida taxpayers.

This week: DeSantis, (who is still an asshole,) took a nosedive in polls, down 12 points. He now trails his democratic opponent by 6.4 points. The stunt has backfired spectacularly.

Bonus: Ron DeSantis has been hit with a class action lawsuit filed on behalf of the legal immigrants he coerced under false pretenses.

Extra Bonus: A criminal investigation has been opened by Texas Sheriff Javier Salazar, of Bexar County, which includes San Antonio.

This week: QAnon attorney Sidney Powell who conspired alongside Rudy Giuliani and retired Army General Michael Flynn, was a no-show for election probe grand jury.

Next week: the find out part of this story will play out.

More good news: The deleted text messages of Secret Service officers on the dates leading up to 1/6/2021 have been retrieved.

The final 1/6 committee will commence on September 28th at 1 pm ET. Will they rock the House?

Election Day is November 08, 2022

Social Security, Medicare, and reproductive rights are all on the ballot this November.

  1. I didn’t know the Secret Service emails had been retrieved! Great news!
Trump and declassifying via mental telepathy. Yeah, that has ‘stable genius’ written all over it.
One correction, Lydia. ‘Ron DeSantis was an asshole.’ The correct wording is, ‘Ron DeSantis IS an asshole.’ Charlie Crist–I am counting on you for win, buddy!!
