Apparently They Think That’s Okay

Trump’s defenders have moved on from “no collusion, no obstruction” to “yeah, it’s true, so what.” As indisputable truths, regarding Trump’s relationship with Russia, become common knowledge, thanks to the redacted version of the Mueller Report, the direction their argument has taken was an inevitability.

Russians bought “a couple of ads on Facebook” …so what? ~ Jared Kushner

“There’s nothing wrong with taking information from Russians.” ~ Rudy Giuliani

“I don’t care what they talked about.” ~Lindsey Graham said, regarding Donald Trump told former White House Counsel, Don McGahn, to fire Robert Mueller and then say it was his idea.

None of the statements listed above are based on the law, as those who made the comments are well aware.

An unsuccessful attempt to obstruct justice is as illegal as a successful one. Not achieving the desired result is irrelevant.

Along the same line of reasoning, if you are an unfettered idiot who committed treason, you are still a traitor. Someone tell Don (If it’s what you say I love it), Junior; his apparent exoneration by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, from the Trump Tower meeting, based on his absolute stupidity, is not the end of that story. Junior did not help himself by repeatedly committing perjury, and his penchant for spewing remorseless rhetoric on social media isn’t helping him either.

Robert Mueller did not indict Donald Trump, or his (redacted) family and cohorts, which resulted in cries from the right that it’s time to move on, because “Mueller found no wrongdoing.” There is enough in Mueller’s report to impeach and to indict, but Mueller left it to Congress to do in that order.

Still, there is resentment festering among the American people who believed Mueller would save us Trump’s corruption.

I am by no means ready to join the faction who are angry at Robert Mueller because he did not take Trump off the hook; he handed the pole to Congress, with Trump and his team dangling from it… perhaps with enough line to hang themselves. Bill Barr tried to cut the line, but the line was too thick. The full un-redacted report and its corresponding evidence will be seen by Congress, eventually. The report recommends impeachment, with the understanding that Trump will face charges when he’s dethroned.

Bob Mueller has also distributed specific findings that may be of use to some of the other active investigations currently underway targeting Trump, his family, and his associates:

  • Bill Barr’s DOJ has no jurisdiction over state investigations, making them a more significant threat to the traitors in the White House.

I am going to speculate that among the redacted, besides Trump, Don Jr, and Jarvanka, is Senator Lindsey Graham, Senator Mitch McConnell, Devin Nunes, perhaps Matt Gaetz, maybe now Bill Barr. My conjecture is based on Hamlet:

“The lady doth protest too much, methinks” ~William Shakespeare.

They have randomly skipped around the five stages of death.

    1. Denial: “No collusion, no obstruction!”
    2. Anger: “FIRE EVERYBODY… then say it was your idea!”
    3. Bargaining: “You can keep your job if you’re willing to sacrifice your future employability.”
    4. Depression: “Oh my God, this is terrible! This is the end of my presidency! I’m fucked.”
    5. Acceptance: “Treason is fine.”

Mitch McConnell’s refusal to safeguard our 2020 election from the same Russian attack he mitigated during the 2016 election must have garnered some of Robert Mueller’s attention.

Kentucky group slams McConnell for blocking a bill to protect voters

McConnell’s obstruction is tantamount to treason. For over two years, he has aided an adversary’s attacks against our country, and his refusal to allow any safeguards to protect against future election interference is nothing less than treason.

In 2016, McConnell kept Obama from informing the American people that they had been manipulated by targeted propaganda… not the story Kushner is selling, “a few Facebook ads.”

Sunday, on Face the Nation, Lindsey Graham’s interview was an exercise in fence straddling worthy of an Olympic event. He vehemently agreed Russians hacked the 2016 election, but disagreed with Kushner’s portrayal of the tampering, claiming “Trump has a team working on the situation”, (*spoiler alert- he doesn’t), and Graham stuck the dismount when he said “the only way to respond to Russia is financially.”

The solution he offers is in direct opposition to his voting record, in favor of lifting sanctions.

A glance at Graham’s voting record gives us a timeline as to when he crossed over to the dark side. It was sometime around 8/2017.

The Truth is, Trump’s GOP has not taken action to stop Russian election interference at all… it is the GOP lifeline.

The objective for Trump, his family, and his political enablers is to sway public opinion. Are you buying into this new tactic they’re selling— that conspiracy, compromise, and obstruction of justice are no big deal? They hope that Trump will not face impeachment if he garners enough support. What percentage of Americans will think that’s okay?

State Dept. Was Granted $120 Million to Fight Russian Meddling. It Has Spent $0.

McConnell suggests the voting-rights proposal is ‘socialist.’

Graham: ‘I don’t care’ if Trump told McGahn to fire Mueller

Graham says Russians ‘up to it again’ with election interference: ‘We need more sanctions, not less.’

    Orange is the New Transparency

The Mueller report puts the suggestion of impeachment, based on obstruction, in the hands of Congress. Donald Trump is responding to the fallout of the report by obstructing justice more brazenly.

“We’re fighting all the subpoenas. The Democrats are trying to win 2020… and they’re not going to win against me.”

    Donald Trump 4/24/2019

He is obstructing Congress in their attempt to investigate facts described in the Mueller report.

“I’ve been the most transparent president …most transparent administration in the history of our country.” ~Donald Trump, 4/24/2019

Yes, he said that on the same day he said he’s fighting all subpoenas.

He is transparent, except for his medical records, his taxes, interfering with anyone testifying to Congress, his own testifying to Mueller, his meetings with Putin, etc.

He has ordered his entire staff to ignore all subpoenas from Congress.

So, Stephen Miller has refused to testify regarding Trump’s immigration policy.

White House says Stephen Miller won’t testify on immigration

Steve Mnuchin, treasury secretary, has ignored House Ways and Means Committee’s deadline to turn over Trump’s taxes to the committee, again, and has set his new deadline in May.

*Spoiler* He won’t meet that deadline either.

White House officials also said they would bar Don McGahn, former White House counsel, from testifying before Congress.

Trump won’t allow McGahn to straighten out what he claims is “Fake News.”

House Democrats are considering monetary punishment, by way of withholding pay, for those who ignore subpoenas… yawn. They won’t care.

“What we’re witnessing from the Trump administration is “contempt of Congress, contempt of law, contempt for the American people.” ~ Harvard Law Professor of Constitutional Law, Lawrence Tribe

In related news, for those of you who still harbor doubt that Attorney General Bill Barr is a Russian asset, like Trump, this should clear that up. Barr has joined Russia in requesting Russian gun activist and spy, Maria Butina, be sent home to Moscow without serving her sentence. He is asking a judge to allow her deportation, and in so doing, eliminating a key witness to dozens of crimes.

“Butina is a key witness in dozens of crimes, who claimed that she was the channel for Russia approving the American SECRETARY OF STATE.”

Washington Post: Breaking News, World, US, DC News & Analysis

    But again, Trump claims transparency.

Meanwhile, Rudy Giuliani is the latest Republican to have successfully met all the qualifications to be awarded an honorary Ass Clown Certification. Congratulations, Rudy!

Trump/Russia… Same as it Ever Was

~ Donald Trump, on learning Robert Mueller had taken over the Russia investigation.

🎵🎼🎶And you may say yourself, “My God! What have I done?”🎶🎵🎼

Bill Barr, Trump’s pseudo Attorney General, and White House lying spokesperson, Sarah Sanders, seem to be on an ‘I’m an asshole tour’, designed to diffuse Trump’s situation…

    Don’t let them:

      Ignore Sanders,

    • Arrest Barr.

  • How did we get here?

    🎶🎼🎵“How did we get here? 🎵 🎶 🎼 This is not my beautiful House.“🎵 🎶 🎼

2016, Democrats were afraid to call Trump a fraud,

2017, Democrats reluctant to call Trump a racist,

2018, Democrats hesitant to call Trump a traitor,

2019, Democrats are averse to impeaching Trump.

🎼🎶🎵Into the blue again; into the silent water.👆🏼🎵🎼

    Trump will not resign despite:

  • As per Robert Mueller’s report, any money Trump received while President, outside of his salary, is a bribe.
  • Donald Trump has been caught accepting bribes in exchange for political favors.

🎶🎼🎵”Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down”🎶🎼🎵

We watched Donald Trump obstruct justice in real time. These are some instances listed in the report:

    — Flynn investigation: “I hope you can let this go.”

    —The firing of FBI Director James Comey;

—The firing of Acting FBI Andrew McCabe

    — Ordering Mueller to be fired;

    —Prevent disclosure of campaign emails about Trump Tower Russia meeting;

    — Ordered Jeff Sessions to end his recusal;

    —Order for McGahn to lie;

    — Indirectly offering pardons, in exchange for cooperation, to: Flynn, Manafort, and Roger Stone

    —Threatening Michael Cohen.

All this, and Trump’s overall abuse of power make me wonder… why isn’t the self proclaimed deal artist trying to make a deal that would include his walking off into the sunset?

He knows the presidency is keeping him out of jail.

    🎶🎼🎵”Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground”🎶🎼🎵

Trump thinks he is going to get away with treason, as long as he stays in office.

Trump is not a legitimate president, as such, he does not deserve to be protected by the subjective belief that a sitting president can not be indicted.

🎶🎼🎵”Under the rocks, and stones there is water underground”🎶🎼🎵

Very few items in the Mueller report were not whispered about on twitter. People who had inside informants with knowledge have told those who would listen most of it. This should not be a surprise.

🎶🎼🎵”Remove the water at the bottom of the ocean!”🎶🎼🎵

Why do 33% of Americans still support him?

The billionaire bracket who don’t pay taxes have real motivation, all be it unethical.

But what about the ones who vote against their own interests?

🎶🎼🎵”Into the blue again after the money’s gone”🎶🎼🎵

Do they support Trump because they’re racists, or to protect an embryo at all cost, but not provide for it once it grows into a child? Maybe it’s because they want access to machine guns, or maybe they think Trump is the guy from the Apprentice.

    🎶🎼🎵And you may find yourself
    Living in a shotgun shack🎶🎼🎵

What ever the reason is, that leaves 77% of the American voting population who need to take action.

    What happens now?

Do we have the luxury of waiting for the 2020 elections?

🎶🎼🎵“Into the blue again after the money’s gone”🎶🎼🎵

The Mueller report includes Russian hacking into our voting system.

🎶🎼🎵”Under the rocks, and stones there is water underground”🎶🎼🎵

Paul Manafort gave the Kremlin polling data from swing states: Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Trump shocked everyone who had been following the exit polls, by “winning” those states at a 1% margin.

🎶🎼🎵“Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down“🎶🎼🎵

Do you think that was a coincidence?

🎶🎼🎵“Letting the days go by, water flowing underground”🎶🎼🎵

Nothing has been done to secure the elections from tampering… nothing.

Ted Cruz beat Beto O’Rourke in an election that saw Texas go from red to blue.

There were many reports of voting machine “glitches”, all in Cruz’s favor.

🎶🎼🎵”Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down”🎶🎼🎵

Russian media crows over Mueller report: ‘We will help you elect Trump once again — just like last time!’

Our Democratic leadership knows Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, will block any vote to impeach Trump, once it get’s to the senate, that’s his modus operandi.

    Caught on tape:

“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump, swear to God.” Kevin McCarthy,

    “This is an off the record . . . No leaks! . . . All right?” ~Paul Ryan’s réponse

Which brings me to my last thought: who is Barr protecting in the redacted sections of the Mueller report?

Pence knew, Devin Nunes plays the guilty perfectly, Mitch McConnell has been Trump’s wingman since before he was inaugurated.

Paul Ryan Keeps It All in the Family

Republicans can not win an election without— gerrymandered borders, the electoral college, voting machines with “glitches“, voter registration purging, disenfranchisement— cheating. But somehow they still hold office.

Despite the knowledge that the GOP cheats, democrats want to wait to impeach, until 2020.

Can Democrats win back the senate despite republican cheating?

Which Came First, My Migraine or the Mueller Report?

I tried to read Robert Mueller’s report yesterday, with a migraine. I rarely get them, and I know you aren’t reading this post to learn what the symptoms of a migraine are:

    • blinding pain,
    • waves of nausea,
    • loss of will to live
  • As I tried to read the report I became more focused on pressure in my head, than I was on the words I was reading.
  • I was confounded as to why Mr Mueller would say his results were inconclusive… it seems to conflict with his statement “I can not exonerate him.”

Was it the fog of my migraine that made this so confusing?

The report confirms what I believe we already knew, but details Trump’s actions, his coordinated efforts with Manafort, Flynn, Don Jr, Kushner, etc, several Russian Oligarchs, and Putin. Why has Trump not been indicted?Trump is a criminal, that’s my belief— no, I am not an attorney.

Which came first, my migraine or the Mueller report?

I read without comprehension, and took breaks to check the news and twitter, to see what the general consensus was.

I ended up following the Twitter feed of Seth Abramson. Seth is a Lawyer, and author of the book “Proof of Conspiracy”, which reads as a sister report to Part 1 of Robert Mueller’s report.

I’ll add a link to the Twitter feed at the end of my post… did I just lose everyone to Seth Abramson? 🤔

The string of Seth’s tweets began the night before Bill Barr’s announcement, covered Barr’s announcement, and then went onto cover the redacted Mueller Report.

I scrolled back to Seths first tweet in the string and quickly caught up to the live tweets. He was reading the Mueller Report with a line by line analysis. This went on until 11:46 pm… which is when he finished reading Part 1. He had only stopped once, for dinner.

In case you’re wondering, my migraine is gone today, thanks for asking. I do plan to go back to the point where I stopped reading and carry on from there.

Regardless, today I would like to share with you—Seth Abramson’s conclusions. Again, he is an attorney who has been investigating Trump’s collusion for 2 years and, based on his findings, wrote that NYTimes best seller, “Proof of Conspiracy”.

There is proof that Donald Trump is guilty of collusion and obstruction of justice. Mr Mueller’s investigation may not have met the standards, or burden, of proof required to prosecute Trump’s conspiracy in a criminal trial, however that is only because of the concerted effort to destroy evidence, and the rampant lying among Trump’s associates, Trump himself, and other witnesses; and, in my opinion, Robert Mueller’s investigation was ended before he had finished his work.

    Part 1, Page 10 Mueller Report 👆🏼

Mueller lists the following impediments to his investigation:

    • Destruction of evidence
    • Invocations of Fifth Amendment
    • Witnesses and documents abroad
    • Department of Justice policies on attorneys and media
    • Legal privilege protected by “taint team” review
    • Trump’s people giving false or incomplete information
    • The scope of his investigation was limited

    Part 1, Pages 12 & 13, Mueller report 👆🏼

For the reasons listed above, there was not enough evidence to meet the standard of proof required in a criminal investigation:

The three standards of proof are: “Preponderance of Evidence”, which requires 51% or more evidence of the crime, “Clear and Convincing Evidence”, needs 70%, and “Beyond Reasonable Doubt”– in which you must find the evidence true with 90-100% assurance. Criminal trials require a preponderance of evidence (90%+).

Donald Trump’s crimes have, however, exceeded the standards required to be impeached on many grounds. He is a threat to national security, a traitor to the United States, he was compromised by Russia long before the election.

His unscrupulous ties are not only with Russia, but with Saudis and China, and Israel…

As far as Trump colluding with Russia, we have evidence. We all saw it happen in real time. 👇🏼

We also know Russia interfered with the 2016 election, and did so to help Donald Trump. Trump wanted their help, and accepted it. His campaign met with Russians to seek out that help. Trump and his campaign repeatedly lied about those contacts.

Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort, gave polling data for: Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, to the Kremlin. Those are states Trump won unexpectedly, and contrary to exit polling data.

Trump fired the FBI Director to stop an investigation into the matter and then tried to fire Mueller.

👆🏼During the presidential campaign, in Trump Tower, Don Jr told a Kremlin agent that Trump would revisit the question of sanctions, if elected.

Let me go back to Bill Barr. He lied. He lied when he said Bob Mueller left it to him to decide how to proceed with the results of the report.

Mr Mueller clearly stated, the decision of how to proceed with his report should be left to congress:

Barr lied about Mueller’s findings with regards to Trump’s obstruction:

“With respect to whether the President can be found to have obstructed justice by exercising his powers under Article II of the Constitution, we concluded that Congress has the authority to prohibit a President’s corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice,” ~ Special counsel Robert Mueller

Barr lied when he said Trump “fully cooperated with the investigation”: Trump and his campaign repeatedly lied to investigators, Trump fired FBI Director, James Comey, hoping to stop the investigation, and the only reason Trump did not fire Mueller is because the people he ordered to do it did not comply with his order.

Additionally, Barr lied by omission with his heavy handed redactions at the end of Part 1, to protect Trump’s family, and likely to hide more damning information on Trump himself.

Barr lied in several ways, he should resign, or be impeached.

Congress has subpoenaed Bill Barr, and asked him to turn over all evidence and an un-redacted copy of Mueller’s report,

~ Based on Part 1 of Mueller’s Report, Seth Abramson explains under what guidelines Trump does meet the standards to be impeached:

“426/ Recall the 4 categories of collusion:

    • Collusion (conspiracy): impeachable and a crime
    • Collusion (other crimes): impeachable and a crime
    • Collusion (national security threat): impeachable
    • Collusion (ethical violation): not impeachable and not a crime*
    *Political issue only.”

All is far from lost, there are ongoing investigations, I believe Mr Mueller mentions 20.

    ~Listed by Abramson:

“SDNY, EDNY, EDVA, CDCA, NYAG, NJAG, DCAG, MDAG, FBI, CIA, SSCI, NYCDA, and House committees (Ways/Means, Financial Services, Oversight, Judiciary, Intelligence). Some of these have multiple pending cases.”

“144/ I want to note that *far and away the largest redaction category* is…

    That’s good news.👆🏼🤔👇🏼

When Trump learned Robert Mueller had taken over the Russia investigation, he said:

Why would he say that? 🤔

Some of the facts already exposed by the Mueller Report will ultimately lead to Donald Trump’s demise:

Trump knew exactly what WikiLeaks was doing.

Tried to end the investigation, but was stopped from doing so, by his staff.

He tried to cover up Trump Tower meeting

    Russia interfered

Lordy, this is just the beginning.

    Political Chaos, 4/13/2019

This has been a particularly disturbing week for anyone paying attention to the news, each new story overshadowing the previous one.

Donald Trump and his appointees have become more brazen in their refusal to follow the law, that seems to be the theme.

The story that kicked off the week, that of Trump’s latest fixer, Attorney General Bill Barr, and his sustained squat on Bob Mueller’s report.

Barr was questioned by congress this week, and contends it is his right to decide what anyone sees with regards to Bob Mueller’s report. He promises to give congress a heavily redacted version next week… color coded redactions…. 4 colors, each one a reason he chose to redact that particular section.

Who will be surprised to hear 90% of the report is censored? The only mystery left is what colors he will choose, and will he use Smencils?

Congress is investigating Barr. That’s the good news.

Barr went on record saying he believes spying occurred during Trump’s election campaign. Those are Trump’s words coming out of Barr’s mouth.

Trump and Barr are attempting to vilify the FBI, by accusing them of illegally spying, in order to cushion the impact of the inevitable release of the Mueller report.

The second story is Steve Mnuchin ignoring a congressional request to turn over Trump’s taxes. A deadline set by congress came and went… ignored. The law is clear, it requires Mnuchin provide congress with Trump’s taxes on request. With his refusal to comply, Mnuchin risks a 5 year prison sentence. He does not appear to be worried.

In response, democrats are threatening to hold him in contempt.

    Meh… shrugged off.

Here’s the Law That Requires Mnuchin to Turn Over Trump’s Taxes, or Go Directly to Jail

A third story this week sheds light on one reason Trump doesn’t want us to see his taxes. Tax fraud is a Trump family tradition.

Donald Trump’s sister, appellate court Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, officially retired this week after receiving official notification of a complaint filed against her (and her siblings):

An investigation into fraudulent tax schemes committed, with regards to inheritance money, is receiving “the full attention of a judicial conduct council”.

Apparently tax fraud is in violation of judicial conduct rules, but perfectly acceptable for the executive branch of government.

Other Trump family real estate business crimes include padding invoices to justify raising rent- in rent regulated buildings.

Undervaluing the properties to avoid tens of millions of dollars in taxes.

No need to worry about Judge Barry suffering along with the majority of retired Americans, trying to get by on Social Security and Medicare… she can collect in both, but she’ll also keep her six-figure, taxpayer-funded salary in retirement.

Also, in 2004 and 2006, the siblings sold off their father’s empire, her share was $182.5 million… so she has that to fall back on.

Retiring as a Judge, Trump’s Sister Ends Court Inquiry Into Her Role in Tax Dodges

The fourth story is regarding Julian Assange of Wikileaks. He was forcibly removed from the Ecuadorian embassy, in London, where he sought asylum 7 years ago because he was wanted in Sweden for sexual assault. He has been removed for extradition to the United States under indictment, not for his indiscriminate dumping of sensitive documents and stolen e-mails, but for the conspiracy of unauthorized computer access.

Many have tried painting Assange as a journalistic martyr, warning us that his arrest puts the free press is at risk. Assange is an asset of Russian intelligence, not a journalist.

Why do I think so? Julian Assange had one line he refused to cross— he would not publish the Panama papers or any documents he was in possession of, that implicated Putin for his interference in the Ukraine.

    More Fun Assange facts:

    • Julian Assange outed a gay man in Saudi Arabia.
    • Published the medical records of teenage rape victims.
    • Wikileaks was responsible for releasing the names and personal information of 7 Jews who remained Baghdad.
    • He assisted American traitor, and spy, Edward Snowden, in his escape to Russia.
    • He worked in a coordinated effort with Roger Stone, Don Junior, Edward Snowden in the release of stolen Podesta emails an hour after the Access Hollywood tape dropped, to distract from the scandal that should have ended Trump’s political aspirations.
    • Assange has been indicted on a variety of charges across Europe, ranging from extortion in Spain to rape in Sweden.

Mike Pompeo has called Assange: “Head of a non-state hostile intelligence service aligned with Putin’s Russia.”

    Assange is not a journalist.

His arrest is a result of Robert Mueller’s work, and offers another opportunity for congress to obtain the Mueller report.

U.S. prepares criminal case against Wikileaks’ Assange

The fifth story, and the last I’ll mention today, I find most alarming:

Thousands of FBI agents just had their personal information stolen and published by hackers: report

The personal information of 4,000 FBI members was hacked and posted online, including names, personal and government email addresses, job titles, phone numbers and their postal addresses.

The timing of this with regards to both Assange and Barr should not be overlooked.

FBI hacked days after Assange arrested for unauthorized computer access, and while Barr is pushing Trump’s narrative attempting to discredit the FBI, implying their justified investigation included “spying”.

Trump and his appointees believe they’re immune to any repercussions from their illegal behavior, in part because they’ve repeatedly been protected by the GOP members of congress.

Our country is currently under control of those who own the GOP- the Koch brothers, the Mercers, the Forbes, the, NRA, etc.

They not only control the GOP, but they use their money to manipulate the masses. For example, the Mercers funded Cambridge Analytica, the company that used Facebook data to target propaganda in order to suppress the vote in 2016. Steve Bannon worked for Cambridge Analytica. (The company has re-formed under a new name— Emerdata.)

The CNP- Council for National Policy is a far right libertarian party.

They can check off much of their agenda.

I lied, there is one more story… more Trump playing dictator. If congress is in need of another reason to impeach Trump, this is it.

Trump instructed a Customs and Border Patrol head to break the law, and promised him he’d issue him a pardon if he was sent to jail.

Of all the impeachable offenses Trump has committed, this one is the boldest.

Trump told CBP head he’d pardon him if sent to jail

The democratic congress has a valid argument to try to avoid Impeachment for now. While it would be successful in the House, the GOP still holds the majority in the Senate. McConnell would shut it down. I keep hearing- we are playing a long game, when we take back the Senate in 2020 this will end.

Any success of a long game would depend on the GOP and Russia not successfully rigging the election in 2020, and let’s not forget that Trump continues appointing questionable judges.

Regardless of the GOP majority in the senate, beginning Impeachment proceedings would allow for the release of Mueller’s report.

The GOP has been playing dirty for decades. Democrats have to find a way to end this now.

First let me be petty: This is what happens to a man, guilty of espionage and other alleged crimes, who spends 7 years in hiding. 47 year old WikiLeaks founder, Julianne Assange, who attacked our democracy in 2016, looks like he’s been dead several of those years, and decomposition is well underway.

Now onto the informational segment of my post:

This morning WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, a citizen of Australia, was arrested at the Ecuadorean Embassy in London, forcibly taken into custody by British police, for extradition to the U.S.

He initially sought asylum to avoid facing sexual assault charges in Sweden.

Let’s review: a few of the criminal charges Julianne Assange faces—

    • In UK, jumping bail (max 12 months)
    • In Sweden: alleged sexual assault
    • In US, “conspiracy to disclose classified information”

Julian Assange is presumed to have worked in tandem with Russia to release emails stolen from Democratic politicians in order to affect the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

Assange is not a journalist whose rights are being infringed on. He committed espionage, attacking our democracy.

There is an inherent difference between Russia’s tactics of political sabotage and journalistic whistleblowing.

    Thoughts and prayers.
