The Truth About 9/11 and Donald Trump

Nineteen years have passed since that horrific Tuesday morning of 9/11/2001. The world as we knew it changed. 3,000 people died. While most of us were stunned speechless, Donald Trump, a real-estate developer at the time, called a local TV station using the tragic events as an opportunity to talk about himself. He falsely claimed that with the Twin Towers gone he had the talks at building in New York.

He took credit for donating first $10k, and then $100k to relief funds. There is no evidence or record of Trump making any such donation. There is proof of the opposite.

Donald Trump Accepted Public Thanks for Donating to 9/11 Charity in Months After Attacks, But City Review Finds No Evidence He Did So

Trump’s administration has recently siphoned $4 million dollars from the 9/11 first responders fund. These funds were designated for their healthcare.

Always a fear-mongering racist, Trump said the following: “Hey, I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering.”

Trump claimed he helped clear rubble after the towers fell. That was a lie too.

Today Donald Trump attended a 9/11 memorial service where he mumbled gibberish during the pledge of allegiance. He doesn’t know the words.

Also on February 07, 2020, during a taped interview with Bob Woodward, Trump made his understanding of the threat posed by Covid19 clear. He chose to “downplay it.” That decision resulted in the United States, a country with 4-5% of the world’s population, suffering 25% of the world’s C-19 infections. He can be thanked for a collapsed economy, financial ruin for small business owners, closed schools, long term heart disease for survivors of the virus, and the death of 200,000 people.

Sixty-five 9/11’s would have resulted in fewer deaths than the Trump Virus. Please vote.

  1. It’s probably two key phrases he can’t deal with “the republic for which it stands” and “liberty and justice for all”. Frankly I’m getting sick of him and his tribe being allowed to use the flag. His day-in-day-out behavior is equivalent to taking a dump on it.

  2. I really appreciate it when you use the links within the text instead of at the end of the post. I don’t know if that is more complicated/harder for you to do or not but…I like it better.
Good post…per your usual. OH…check out my most recent post – it’s a “share” and I am interested in what you think. I, personally, thought it was a well-thought-out post and very diplomatic and (mostly) bipartisan.

    1. Thank you for the input. It’s just as easy to put the links with the text, I just worried that it would break up the post too much, or that people would assume that was the end and stop reading. I will definitely make the change.
And I’ll read yours now. 😊

  3. Right. He walked away from the telescope in his penthouse where he watched people cheering and got his fat ass to NYC to help clear the rubble. Like they would let anyone there, when it was so unsafe. He is so full of it.
And is it just me or does his mouth not move for the words “under God.” And he bashed the DNC for omitting these words… Ugh. Everything, every single thing this jackass does angers the hell out of me.
