An endless declivity
Surroundings devoid of light
A dark chasm
Unknown creatures proliferate
Ensconced
In caliginous gelid sediment
Breathing air through a tube
Panic rises as I contemplate
Which direction
Leads up
To the oceans surface
My heart races at the idea
Deep sea diving

  4. I’m with you! I couldn’t think of a place when I read the prompt but yes – the deep blue sea is fascinating and beautiful and I’m happy experiencing it from my television screen.
