On that night, when Trump was announced winner of the 2024 election, I had several concerns.
My first was a general disbelief that he fooled enough Americans, again, to put him back in power.

After my somewhat selfish thoughts about women’s rights, health insurance and Social Security, I considered the plight of the rest of the world. The climate, the economy, peace. I reflected on what this means for Ukraine, a country that stands to lose its sovereignty. Putin wants Ukraine for two reasons: mineral resources and it is part of his grand scheme to restore the former Soviet Union.
Then I thought about what Ukraine means to the EU. If Russia is the victor, its aggression will not end there. Putin needs more to achieve his ultimate goal. Next on his list is Poland. He has said as much. He will attack the countries he has threatened, including Finland, Sweden, the rest of Europe, the Baltics…

You may have heard that Putin and Trump held peace talks about Ukraine, without Ukraine. The reality is that Trump was receiving his instructions from his master on how to handle his meetings with Zelenskyy. Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy has met with Hair Donald, (pointlessly) argued his case, expressing what every person with an ounce of humanity understands, that giving up land to an aggressor like Russia is rewarding a war criminal and once rewarded, he will attack again. Offering concessions will not appease the tyrant.
The only way this war should end is with Putin ending all attacks air, water, cyber, and withdrawing his troops from Ukraine. Leave Ukraine. Then Russia must pay to repair what it destroyed.

But Putin, Trump, and Musk, (who elected Musk?) found a solution while excluding Zelenskyy, the victim.

Trump is importuning Zelenskyy for access to Ukraine’s rich minerals resources, and has threatened to cut off the country’s use of Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite internet system.
You may remember in 2022, when Musk illegally turned off Ukraine’s internet service during a Ukrainian defensive raid on a Russian naval fleet. Russia then attacked Ukraine without the warning satellites would have given them.
I would like to point out the obvious:
Elon Musk had no right to interfere with Ukraine’s ability to defend itself because Starlink IS PAID FOR BY THE U.S. TAXPAYERS.
Musk is a Trojan horse for Russia.
This is extortion. And if Zelenskyy declines, and Starlink is cut off in Ukraine, the only alternative is an archaic means of communication on battlefields. They will be unable to defend themselves.
Trump is extorting Ukraine on Putin’s behalf.
This happened when Trump met Zelenskyy in his first term. That was the reason he was impeached the first time.

It looks like Zelenskyy has no choice but to agree to be plundered. The offer is one-sided because Trump has never been good for his word. ‘You do this for me, or else.’ Outside the U.S., the world can see what is happening here, and they understand what will happen next. Trump, Musk,
and Putin, will take the mineral rights and allow Russia to carry on conquering a sovereign nation.
*The latest iPhone update installs Starlink on your phone. I turned off auto-updates and get constant push notifications to update my phone. I don’t want Starlink. It’s free for now, but at some point, there will be a fee attached to the service. Free or not, I don’t want it. It is ironic that Starlink is forced on U.S. consumers without their knowledge while they strip it from a country at war with a madman. These tech-guys need to stay in their lane.
This is what the United States of America has become: A chainsaw-wielding idiot onstage being applauded for his stupidity.
He’s a Texas chainsaw Stephan King clown.
Having spent the past three years helping Ukrainians, I can tell you they were in despair when Trump was elected. It’s criminal how he is behaving.
It is criminal, and had the Senate done convicted him after either impeachment, he wouldn’t be in office. If only Mitch McConnell had an ounce of humanity.
Your help to the Ukrainian people is inspiring. The world is better because of people like you.
You too. We need to keep speaking out.
