We must suffer 58 more days until Election 2024. I’ve started several posts in the last week, but life has prevented me from finishing them. Lucky for you, the few that are still relevant have been heavily edited. This is a combo platter.
You may have heard of Allan Lichtman, the historian who has correctly predicted the outcome of nine of the last ten presidential elections, going as far back as 1984, including in Trump 2016 and President Biden’s 2020 win. Well, I’ve waited, and he has finally made his prediction… (See Answer at end of post. Or watch this video.👇🏼

Moving on.
Thanks to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s revised charges, the case of Trump orchestrating the 1/6 attack on the Capitol. Trump’s lawyers are back in D.C. this week after a year of appeals that ended in the hands of the SCOTUS who granted Trump unprecedented immunity for crimes committed in the line of duty as commander in chief.
Judge Tanya Chutkin has made clear there will be no consideration for the election. Her focus is on the four indictments.

Defense: “We’re being put in an incredibly unfair position. For no reason at all”
“We’re talking about the Presidency of the United States”
Judge intervenes: “I’m not talking about the Presidency of the United States.. I’m talking about a four-count indictment”
Then, in this exchange raised eyebrows. Trump’s Defense slipped telling Judge Tanya Chutkan that Clarence Thomas advised them to use the argument she had just rejected.
As reported by Scott MacFarlane:
Defense: Court must decide issue of special counsel’s authority “in light of Justice Thomas’s interest” in the issue
And in light of Judge Cannon tossing the Florida case
Judge Chutkan says she does not find the decision/ruling against Special Counsel by Judge Aileen Cannon in Florida “very persuasive.”
Defense: Justice Thomas directed us to raise this issue…
Judge Chutkan interjects: “He *directed* you to do it?”
Defense: Well.. he didn’t direct us to…

Clarence Thomas, seriously, what the flip? Is he really going to get away with everything?

And finally:
Two years after Russia began its “three day operation to rid Ukraine of Nazis”, there is no end to the war in sight. The world has witnessed the ineptitude of what we once feared was an invincible superpower. We saw broken down equipment and use of untrained civilians on front lines, sometimes without weapons. Apparently, no money has been spent to upgrade tanks, uniforms, rifles, etc.
Putin is suffering due to strict sanctions, turning to our other adversaries for financial help with military weapons.
We are at war with Russia as well. This week a 277-page FBI indictment has been unsealed and with it, insight into Russia’s tactics and the resources they use to sway the opinions of their target audience. The Kremlin maintains an active list of 2,800 social media influencers. 600 of them are in the US.
This is “Project Good Old USA”

Two Russian nationals who worked for media outlet, Russia Today, Kostiantyn Kalashnikov, 31, and Elena Afanasyeva, 27 are charged with conspiracy to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Their Tennessee-based company, “TENET Media,” created and published online content, including videos, posted on social media sites like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. They have funneled nearly $10 million, to pay far-right influencers to spread Putin’s propaganda meant to divide the public and rally support for Trump, who has said he will end Russian sanctions.
Popular far-right influencers, useful idiots like Tim Pool and Benny Johnson are playing the victim. They didn’t know it was Russian money.

Lichtman predicts Kamala Harris will win the election!
That’s great news, but we all need to do our part. Check your voter registration again. The GOP is purging rolls. Make sure your friends are registered. Request a mail-in ballot or vote early to avoid Election Day drama. Disenfranchisement via confusion, closing polling stations, having broken machines, power outages, running out of ballots.

This is the kind of headline people need to think about as they go to the polls: “Republicans worry Trump will be ‘like a lab rat hitting the cocaine’ at debate”

That’s a great headline! How is Kamala supposed to prepare to debate a “cocaine lab rat”? 🤔 That would make a great sequel to the movie “Cocaine Bear.”

What kind of morons would they have to be to not realize that much money was coming from Russia? How come it took the CIA so long? I realized the mad mango was working directly for the Russians years ago. It reminds me how it was clear that COVID was spreading through the air, yet no one was willing to just come out and say “it seems that COVID spreads through the air so wear a mask to minimize exposure” until they had scientific proof…and a bunch of people had died. It feels like we aren’t supposed to state the obvious.

I read Tim Pool was paid $400,000 monthly and the message he was spreading was clearly pro-Russia. I think he knew and he’s cooperating with the Feds to stay out of jail.
I agree, it took way too long and the Putin’s people manipulated a lot of people. At least it happened before the election. Is there enough time to deprogram a few… doubtful.
