Congress Failed Us Again

Felon Trump has committed crimes so heinous, he has engaged in war to distract us.

Donald Trump does not have the authority to start wars. The constitution says that is the function of Congress. They responded to Trump’s unlawful attack on Iran by voting on whether they should restrict his power to continue that military operation.

On March 4, 2026, Senate Republicans blocked a resolution to enforce congressional authorization for ongoing conflicts. Party lines largely divided the vote of 47–53 defeat; Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) was the only Republican to join most Democrats. The majority voted against the proposition.

On March 5, 2026, the House followed suit, narrowly rejecting a similar War Powers Resolution by a 219–212 margin. Four Democrats—Henry Cuellar (TX), Jared Golden (ME), Greg Landsman (OH), and Juan Vargas (CA)—sided with most Republicans in opposing the measure. Thomas Massie (KY) and Warren Davidson (OH) were the only two Republicans to vote in favor.

Because Republicans hold congressional majorities, and they answer to Trump, this war that he entered into illegally will continue to escalate.

Reuters has reported that the elementary school in Iran was bombed twice. A second bomb fell 40 minutes after the first. 168 young girls and 14 teachers died. It was intentional.

Since that day, Israel and the U.S. (they have become one entity) have bombed 13 hospitals and health centers and a Red Cross building; they used white phosphorus (a war crime) in civilian areas in Lebanon, airstrikes that have hit 63 towns.

Yesterday Israel and the United States bombed Tehran oil facilities.

This morning black rain, oil, is raining down on Tehran. Families are waking up to toxic air.

On the very day we discovered that Russia is supplying Iran with intelligence to target American soldiers, Trump relaxed sanctions on Russian oil. Is this just incompetence, quid pro quo, or something else entirely?

For those of you who are too busy living life in a bubble that has yet to be burst by this administration to feel empathy for the victims of Israel and our felon in chief, enjoy it while you can. Your blissful ignorance is about to end.

Donald Trump is compromised. He is being blackmailed by more than one country. Netanyahu has pictures of Donald Trump raping children. Putin likely has the same.

These war crimes we are witnessing are being committed by pedophiles in power. Trump started a war just days before the release of FBI 302s of interviews of a victim claiming he raped her when she was 13 years old.

Senator Ron Wyden:

Here’s what’s buried in those files that Republicans don’t want you to see:

  • Who funded and enabled Epstein
  • Where Epstein’s payments went
  • Any connections between Epstein and organized crime
  • More information about Epstein’s patterns: how he controlled women and girls by controlling their accounts
  • How Epstein’s henchmen, including those who still control his estate, assisted in his crimes

Every Republican that stands in the way of my bill is complicit in the Trump administration’s coverup for Epstein. I have no intention to go away. I’m going to keep at it until we have justice.”

Someone explained this to me.

  1. Because this *thing* with Iran is not a war. It’s just bit of a kerfluffle, yet Trump calls it a war because he wants to take credit for stopping it. Eventually. Along with the eight other ‘wars’ he stopped. And Vlad is not helping Iran with any information on the US. He and Donnie are buddies, right? How freaking stupid are all these idiots who go along with everything Trump says??
