What Did Donald Trump Expect?

Pardon me for my insensitivity, but I’m too tired to offer pity to the schoolyard bully who got hurt. That doesn’t mean I condone violence. I don’t, even if directed at the person who incites it.

By now everyone knows, Trump’s Pennsylvania rally ended with several pops, what “sounded like firecrackers.” Trump fell to the ground, flanked by the Secret Service. Moments later, when they stood him up to leave, we could see his ear had been grazed and was bloodied.

VP hopeful, JD Vance, encourages more violence.

How much time passed before someone blamed “Antifa?” Seconds. His camp accused President Biden of ordering a hit within minutes. Trump used the shooting to incite more violence. While security was leading him off the stage he stopped long enough to look out into the camera, pump his fist, and say, “fight, fight, fight!

Vying for VP, Georgia Representative Mike Collins fuels rhetoric fire.

What we know:

  • The FBI has confirmed the shooter, Matthew Crooks, was a registered Republican, 20 years old, male.
  • His weapon was an AR-15, the firearm of choice for mass shootings that have become so routine in this country that they don’t always make the news. Will GOP members wear their AR-15 lapel pins today?
  • The gunman was killed.
  • In the stands behind Donald, one confirmed fatality and other injuries. I don’t know the number.

What did he expect?

Trump, who threw Mike Pence to a murderous mob during the coup attempt at the Capital, has a hit list. Why is that acceptable?

We will remember this moment in history for two reasons.

1. Trump’s violent rhetoric led to it. He has escalated political violence to a level that will be difficult to diffuse when he loses the election in November.

It was a picture perfect moment.

2. The media is the boy who cried wolf. Their biased coverage of Trump made it difficult for people to believe their reports. How could the liar’s shooting not have been staged?

Scripture quoting Marco Rubio auditioning to be VP.
He never quotes the book of Revelation.

Trump will use the shooting to his advantage. Expect to see these photos in a campaign ad because he thinks it makes him look strong. He will garner sympathy votes. It will also subdue criticism against him, to avoid further accusations of incitement to assassinate him.

Aside from “Project 2025,” Donald Trump is running on the promise of exacting revenge against every person he dislikes. This man who loves murderous dictators will outdo them all. The Supreme Court cleared a path for him to do so.

What did that vile jackass expect?

I hate televised news, but I watched last night. The melodramatic message was disgusting because Trump is the most unsympathetic human to sully the executive branch.

The media has taught us, by their biased coverage, to be skeptical of their words. I channel surfed the network broadcasts. While describing the shooting, ABC, NBC, and CBS all repeated their story that President Biden is being pressured to step down. These reporters, who forget Trump’s transgressions hours after he commits them, will not let Biden’s poor debate performance go. Since then, Biden has had over 20 successful appearances and yesterday was leading in the polls.

For the sake of ratings, they have given Trump more coverage than his opponents since his 2016 run for office. They helped create the new GOP, the liars and thieves, gaslighting America and turning the political process into another “reality TV” spectacle.

Does Trump deserve more compassion than he gives to mass shooting victims? Donald needs to “get over it.”

Trump mocked Paul Pelosi, the husband of then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who survived a home invasion, his skull bludgeoned with a hammer.

“By the way, how is Paul Pelosi?”

After the rally, President Biden called Trump to make sure he was ok. Trump would not have done that. One candidate is evil, the other inherently good. This happens when you employ expressions like vengeance, retribution, and retaliation.

Trump uses his words to foment mobs, violence to shield him from consequences of his lawlessness. He has doxxed judges, district attorneys, witnesses and their families. If you don’t know, doxing is publishing identifying information about (a particular individual) on the internet, with malicious intent. He has tried to expose jurors.

Trending on Twitter:

What did he expect?

The Republican Convention is starting this week and Trump will announce the running mate to be martyred next. He will twist the shooting into an act of bravery, and he will seek sympathy votes. His crowd will be angrier and the threats of civil war will increase.

Don’t let this event detract from who Donald Trump is, a sex offender, a lifetime criminal, a traitor, a liar, a convicted felon, a threat to national security, a friend to our enemies who will destroy our democracy if reelected.

What did he expect? I’ll answer my own question. He expected the target to be President Biden.

  1. “Staged” was my first thought. Fake blood on his ear even. He’s apparently been trying to get the limelight back, jealous of the press having Biden’s name and Project 2025 at the top of every page. My second thought was one of his followers who lost everything in one of his cons. He attracts the most radical nutter-butters with guns.

  2. Biden has already said he is going to tone down has ads against Trump. Think Trump would do the same if the tables were turned?

‘Most iconic photo ever and solidifies his legacy.’ True headline. Trump with blood on his face, fist in the air and the American flag in the background. All we needed was for the Secret Service agents to smile for the camera, and how perfect would that have been? Oh, he will be so full of himself now… St Donald the Martyr taking one for his fellow man.
