I have articulated every nuance of my opinion regarding those democrats who publicly tell President Joe Biden to step down. Or maybe not. I need to talk about logistics.
Each political party controls its convention guidelines. The current Democratic rules read: “Delegates elected to the national convention pledged to a presidential candidate shall in all good conscience reflect the sentiments of those who elected them.” Every state has already held its presidential primary and voters chose Joe Biden.
The president stated in plain language, several times, that he has no intention of stepping down, telling supporters in Atlanta after he left the debate stage, “Let’s keep going.” Biden campaign spokesperson Lauren Hitt corroborated: “Of course he’s not dropping out.”
Some members of Congress can’t hear him. They will continue to walk a neutrality tightrope, ignoring Biden’s repeated statements he is running, until his answer changes.
The Democratic National Committee, is convening on Aug. 19, to formally nominate Biden. If Biden succumbs to relentless pressure, stepping down, each state would need to lobby delegates to essentially disenfranchise voters.
It is important to remember that each potential democratic candidate would face the same scrutiny Biden finds himself under, but without the luxury of time to counter the attacks.
Let’s say that bitch George Clooney gets his way because the actor, who lives in Italy, has donated enough money to become a self-important authority whose word now ‘trumps’ the will of the people. A race against the clock search for a new Democratic candidate would ensue. And apparently George Clooney is speaking against Biden out of spite on behalf of his human rights lawyer wife:
Who would step in? Contrary to popular belief, Vice President Kamala Harris would not replace President Biden by default. Biden does not have the power to proclaim who would supplant him. There are countless politicians with presidential aspirations whose sights they set on 2028, those include candidates who ran in 2020: Swalwell, Klobuchar, Buttigieg, Warren, Sanders, etc. Now add to that list California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and California Representative Ro Khanna.
Meanwhile, there would have to be a concerted lobbying effort at each individual state, begging the delegations at the convention for their support. That is not how democracy should work. Yes, MAGA, I appreciate we are a “constitutional republic”. I also know what you don’t. That is a form of democracy.
Despite the technical constitutionality of changing candidates, conservative groups have said they would file lawsuits in every state across the country questioning the legality of the Democratic candidate’s name on the ballot if Biden were to abruptly leave the race. It would end up in the hands of the corrupt Supreme Court, who will do whatever is required to help Trump. So, vocal naysayers, YOU ARE CHOOSING CHAOS. Your path will not end well.
As the gentleman in the video says, we are in a fight for survival. Voters chose Joe, and although I will vote for my party, whoever is at the top of the ticket, there are enough people who will not vote for a replacement, and that would result in a Trump a win. Consider this: the last two times the Democratic Party changed their nominee this late in the game, 1968 and 1972, resulted in landslide losses.
People, this needs to stop. Our only goal is to crush Trump. I believe, if democrats take Jon Stewart’s words literally, (he said them in sarcasm) “get on board or shut the fuck up,” Biden can beat the Don the convict.
Donald is all over the recently released file of Epstein’s logbooks, flight log, name programmed into all 15 of his phones. Let’s get that news out because the media is protecting Trump.
If we stop attacking each other and get the word out on Project 2025, there is no way Joe Biden can lose. How is focusing on his stutter helpful? Stop picking him apart and kicking him when he’s down, and stand behind him. Avoid saying “it’s up to him, we have to wait to hear his decision,” WHEN HE HAS REPEATEDLY SAID “I’M NOT GOING ANYWHERE!” Listen to him. Accept his answer, Nancy, because I know you heard it.
Can we refocus on informing the public about Trump’s plan for the future and his criminal history?

No one talks about why Trump needs another VP.
The court is making sure E Jean Carrol gets paid. I think it’s a done deal because she’s helping some of his other victims with the money.
And Stephen Miller tried also to distance himself from Project 2025. Which is an absolute lie. Do people not realize that the only people who Trump works with are crooks?
