Virginia is Blue

Loudoun Country Virginia wins first place for most heart-warming election results in the 2019 cycle. Why?

Speaking of cycles (groan)—

Juli Briskman, the cyclist, famously photographed flipping off the orange motorcade, is the newly elected Board of Supervisors Official for Loudoun Country, which happens to be the location of the Virginia 🖕🏼Rump National Golf Club, owned by the golfer in-chief.

“Health care doesn’t pass, but you try to dismantle it from the inside, five hundred people get shot in Las Vegas; you’re doing nothing about it. You know, white supremacists have this big march and hurt a bunch of people down in Charlottesville, and you call them good people. My finger said what I was feeling, I’m angry and I’m frustrated.” ~Juli Briskman, Cyclist, 2017

After the photo went viral, she was forced to resign from her marketing executive position at Akima LLC. How do you like her now?

Virginia Democrats have much to celebrate; Ralph Northam won his Governor’s race, and for the first time in 25 years, Virginia Democrats now control all three branches.

It was also a great night for other states, including Kentucky, home of Rand Paul and Mitch McConnel. They should be nervous.

  1. Rejoice, rejoice! The “Trump effect” is now severely tarnished and no longer glitters – just like those horrible signs on his real estate that are all gloss and no substance, reflecting the man himself.

This will also make GOP candidates start to think twice about backing Trump 100%, and we could start to see an erosion in his support – he has made himself no friends in Washington and the knives could start to come out…
