Trump and Animals, Why Would He Do That?

I’d be on the receiving end of a huge tax cut, if I had a nickel for every time I’ve asked—

“Why would he do that?”

Donald J Trump has reversed another Obama era regulation.

This one allows the import of slaughtered big game trophies, on a “case by case basis,”including the body parts of endangered species, like elephant tusks and lion hides.

Why would he do that?

One might guess, in the case of his sons,

there will be no limit.

But that’s not the only sign that Donald Trump lacks a soul.

Donald Trump has signed legislation blocking puppy-mill inspections.

Why would he do that?

“Here we have a government action that benefits no one except people who are caught abusing animals and don’t want the public to know.” ~John Goodwin, senior director of the Humane Society’s Stop Puppy Mill campaign

Additionally, a person planning to purchase a horse, or a dog, or even planning a family trip to a zoo, until last month, could easily access information regarding the establishment they planed to patronize.

The United States Department of Agriculture’s website has removed a link to information on abuses that have taken place at the hands of zoos, or breeders.

Why would he do that?

With Trump, the answer is always money.

  1. I can’t bring myself to hit “like.” I don’t even know if it’s money. How much money does he really make from hunters and dog breeders? I think it’s more his continuing attempt to dismantle anything good done by any previous Democratic administration. I think it is pure meanness.
