Trump Legitimizes Hate

Alex J Fields, is the suspected driver of the car that plowed into a crowd in Charlottesville on August 12, 2017, wounding 19, and killing 1. He is charged with one count of second degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding, and one count of hit and run.

Heather Heyer 32 was killed when Fields drove his car into the crowd.

Plowing a vehicle into a crowd is an act of terrorism, but Trump has yet to call it by it’s name. Alex J Fields’ mother “thought he was going to a Trump rally”— and really, he was.

These people are part of Trump’s base. They traded in their white robes, and the pointed hats that hid their faces, for red hats with Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again.” Now we know what that means to these people. Like Pence, Sessions, Bannon, McConnell, Miller and many more in Trump’s entourage, they want to take us back to the days before America had Civil Rights.

Former KKK leader David Duke tweeted a reminder to Trump, of who “put him in the White House.” (And here I thought it was Putin.)

Trump condemns the media, but he will not denounce hate groups. Instead he made a statement leaving his support open to interpretation.

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides — on many sides.” Donald J Trump

Trump’s comments were interpreted by a neo-Nazi publication “The Daily Stormer” as follows:

“3:46 PM: Trump comments were good. He didn’t attack us. He just said the nation should come together. Nothing specific against us. He said that we need to study why people are so angry, and implied that there was hate… on both sides! So he implied the antifa are haters. There was virtually no counter-signaling of us at all. He said he loves us all. Also refused to answer a question about White Nationalists supporting him. No condemnation at all. When asked to condemn, he just walked out of the room. Really, really good. God bless him.”

They declare war, saying this is just the beginning. The link below will take you to their site.

They claimed victory, but may be mistaken. Mayor Jim Gray said he is taking steps to remove two Confederate-era statues from the lawn of the former Fayette County Courthouse on Main Street.

Trump has made no secret of his racist views, and clearly he was raised with them.

Trump’s father, at age 21, was arrested at a KKK gathering in Queens New York according to a 1927 New York Times article.

1927 news report: Donald Trump’s dad arrested in KKK brawl with cops

Fred Trump’s racism was the subject another story, this time a 1979 article, published by Village Voice, reported on a civil rights suit alleging the Trumps refused to rent to black home-seekers.

Where did these: Neo-Nazi extremist, KKK, White Supremisist, Fascist, Radical Christian Domestic Terrorists come from?

Since Trump’s election, like cockroaches when lights are turned off, they came out of hiding. They’ve been here all along, but Trump has given them the courage to show their faces.

This is not the America I know, and it is not an America to be proud of. This is Donald Trump’s America, and it is time to take it back.

  1. I’m crying over what happened yesterday in Charlottesville and what is happening to our country. How can we have elected a man like Donald Trump, who has legitimized this kind of hatred and racist, fascist behavior? You’re right. It’s time to take back our country from this lunacy.
