The Good News

The results from a special election offer democracy hope. Marilyn Lands, a Democrat, won a vacant seat in the Alabama State House, beat her GOP opponent by 25% points. That’s a Lands slide. Her platform was access to IVF and reproductive rights. It is not enough to shift the balance of power to Democrats in that Republican state, but her win should be taken as a message for republicans across the nation. Start looking for a sturdy box to pack up your desk tchotchke because the party is winding down.

Don Poorleone is selling bibles for the low, low, price of $60. If you order one please request his signature on the last book of “Revelations.” Of course he has never read it so he wouldn’t know it’s about him. Reviews on the publisher of the Bible are like Texas, a Lone Star. Some ordered in 2022 never arrived and those that arrived have misaligned pages. No happy customers and no refunds.

Moving on. Judge Juan Merchan, assigned to the Trump New York criminal trial, issued a gag order yesterday after Trump went after his daughter on social media.

As you see, the gag order didn’t work. Trump seems to be testing his limits.

The ball is in your court Judge Merchan. Trump will never shut up. What’s the punishment? This two tiered system is more shocking every day. Trump isn’t concerned with fines because he doesn’t pay them.

I suggest moving his golden throne into a cell and locking that bitch up.
