Allow me to establish the first rule here in my neglected blog. I am the long-suffering protagonist; everything is about me. That said, Mr. Trump’s “flood the zone” strategy to distract the media and public was a direct hit. Bombarding the news with so much stupidity and cruelty, at lightning speed, no one can follow what’s happening.
Overwhelmed. (<—hmm, it’s a complete sentence.) I’ve started many posts, become distracted, abandoning each to start another again and again. Nothing is finished, and my anxiety level is at a…

seven.
My most recent abandoned subjects include:
- Trump told Maine Governor Janet Mills that he demanded a “full throated apology” after she disagreed with him about transgender athletes. He said his administration will continue to target the state unless he gets one. He is a pig, and now I’m visualizing a throat punch… just in general. I’m not threatening anyone.
- Mr. Trump asked Poland, Finland, and Denmark to sell us eggs. They essentially said no, bitch. Many people are saying Trump shopped elsewhere and made deals with South Korea and Turkey to buy eggs. To be clear, Turkey will supply chicken eggs. Are eggs that important? Would you want eggs from South Korea? Is it natural to get chicken eggs from Turkey? I’m vegan, so I need some help to understand this. Was the price of eggs worth everything that’s happening now?

- Elon Musk was worth over $400 billion in December 2024. His record-breaking loss of net worth has dropped to $200 billion. It is obscene that he can lose $200 billion and still be that rich. Let’s keep it up.

Lots of verbiage in the link below to explain Tesla recalled 46,000 Cybertrucks. The reason: there have been several instances that stainless steel exterior panels have come off when the dumpster is in motion. The glue they used to hold it together failed, and as such, there is a slight risk that large metal sheets could create a hazard to pedestrians and drivers, resulting in injuries or death.

Oh my God… is he dead yet? How much longer must we suffer? Donald Trump is 78. He’s an unhealthy 78. I wake up every morning hoping an obituary will be BREAKING NEWS. I’m sick of checking, so I googled his gene pool.

In closing, since I’ve lost the ability to finish posts, I may just provide half sentences henceforth. I hate quitting.
I have missed you, Lydia. I cannot tell you how many times I read something and think, “I wonder if Lydia saw this?” Then common sense takes over and I think, “I hope not. This is just all too much…”
And the little blonde hateful smart mouth that they are calling ‘Trump in high heels.’ I cannot even look at her without wanting to punch her. Or something like that…
Thank you for missing me! These political posts feel like I’m shouting into the wind. “BREAKING NEWS” is always something we knew.
I look forward to your replies, Lois.
This is so hard to watch and listen to. I keep wondering how it will end because it has to end. I hope that we’ll have a fair election in 2026. Without Starlink or postal interference, Democrats will win both branches of Congress and that will put a plug in it. My fear is war, and that the U.S. will be on the wrong side.
I always say this, but I’ll say it again, I will post more often. ☺️
I’ve missed you as well. I count you as one of the most reliable sources for information. Regarding the crazy: an article from the Ink was republished in a newsletter I get called: “The Opposite of Fascism”, by Anand Giridharadas. I found it to be a pick-me-up. It is online.
Thank you!😊 I’ll look for that right now. YOU are a great source of information.

I found the link!
I needed to read that. Thank you.
It sounded like it. I know I needed it.
