The home of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has been in the news this week because on 1/6, he displayed an American flag outside his house, upside down. Why did it take three years for this information to reach the public?
An interview by a former Trump attorney, one of his many co-defendants, Sidney Powell, who pleaded guilty to several misdemeanors in the Georgia election interference case, has shined a light on Trump’s master plan.
Powell states in no uncertain terms that the purpose of the insurrection was to delay the electoral college certification… to give SCOTUS Alito time to intervene in that legal challenge.
*You might remember the 2000 presidential election, when the Supreme Court (which included Clarence Thomas) stopped a recount and gave the GW Bush the White House. Al Gore conceded, as is expected when the decision is called. The painstaking hand recount continued and Al Gore had won. That decision set a precedent. The Supreme Court stepped in to decide the presidency when they should not have. In doing so, they disenfranchised more than half of the country.
But, Powell says, they didn’t expect Speaker Pelosi to reconvene Congress and finish certification of the vote that night.
Had the mob been successful in delaying the final resolution of the election, and enough of Trump’s proponents in Congress held their ground pushing fake electors, our government would not have survived. They didn’t count on the bravery of Speaker Pelosi reconvening Congress and finishing the tally. She doesn’t get the credit she deserves.
The following day, Alito dismissed the case.

‘Not reassuring’: Reporter drops new Samuel Alito details that put his story into question
An “Appeal to Heaven” flag was flown outside of SCOTUS Samuel Alito’s Virginia home last summer. Insurrectionists carried the Revolutionary War era flag on January 6th and it now represents the Christian Nationalist wing of the MAGA extremists, theocratic revolution in America.
The bias displayed on Alito’s property has impelled Democrats to ask him to recuse himself from cases involving January 6th, Donald Trump, and election integrity, but like Thomas, he has proven himself to be too partisan to step aside. Neither will leave willingly because in their minds, they are in the SCOTUS to decide elections. They were ineffective in 2020, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be unsuccessful this year. Decimating women’s bodily autonomy was a bonus for them.

Chief Justice Roberts has the leadership of this court, and it is his responsibility to keep their credibility intact. He can’t do that because his wife is as corrupt as the two justices in question.
We all remember SCOTUS Clarance Thomas and his wife, knees deep in the planning and execution of 1/6. She Texted Mark Meadows urging him to do whatever it takes.
The extremist right-wing of the majority of the Supreme Court must be made irrelevant by increasing the number of justices to align with the appellate court. For that, we need majorities in both branches of Congress, and there are five months left before the general election. The only solution is to for us to vote in numbers too big to manipulate.
Back to my original question. Why did it take three years for the story to come out? Is this another predictive leak by Alito, like Dobbs was before Roe v Wade became obsolete? Does Alito believe he can get away with anything as long as he gives us fair warning?

And the first thing Alito does is throw his wife under the bus?! Wow. For a minute, when I heard that, my mind just stopped to absorb it. What a piece of work these Supremes are. I guess they figure when you get that high up the food chain, you are untouchable.

Pelosi comes off as a hero yet again. Please note that the current House Speaker would have played along and is planning to do so this year. He was part of orchestrating that plan.

I am certain of it. The main hope is from the people like Buck and Gallagher deciding to leave early, shifting the majority. I am convinced that is why Johnson was made speaker in the first place, he doesn’t have any other qualification.
