Jeffrey Epstein Walks Away Again

Serial child molesting pedophile pimp walks away again, leaving over 40 victims without justice. It’s good to be a rich white man— pandering to perverts in power doesn’t hurt either.

Jeffrey Epstein’s Sex Offender Plea Deal Must Stand, Federal Prosecutors Say

Although only 40 accusers came forward, 80 victims have been identified, and the number is likely much higher.

Epstein could have received a life sentence for federal sex-trafficking of victims aged 12-17.

Instead, a 2007 plea deal, negotiated by the U.S. Attorney for Miami, Alex Acosta, who would later become Donald Trump’s Secretary of Labor, resulted in:

  • Closing an FBI probe searching for more victims,
  • *Immunity for “any potential co-conspirators’’ who were also involved in Epstein’s crimes,
  • A 13-month prison sentence,
  • No state prison for Epstein; he was housed in a private wing of the Palm Beach County jail,
  • The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office allowed Epstein to leave the jail six days a week, for 12 hours a day.
  • The last item bears repeating—

  • Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office allowed Epstein to leave the jail six days a week, for 12 hours a day.

  • In exchange:

    • Epstein pleaded guilty to a single count of prostitution. (There is no such thing as ”prostitution” when children are involved.)
    • That’s it.

Potential “co-conspirators’’ who were also involved in Epstein’s crimes, the ones granted immunity through a plea deal for Epstein, were not named.

Those not named include, but are not limited to:

    • Pretender to the presidency, Donald Trump,
    • His Fox News champion, attorney Allen Dershowitz,
    • Former Special Counsel Ken Starr whose relentless five-year investigation found President Bill Clinton had been on the receiving end of consensual oral sex with a 22-year-old woman. His denial was perjury and led to impeachment,
    • The aforementioned President Bill Clinton an unnamed co-conspirator,
    • As was Prince Andrew, son of QE2.
*I feel the need to address is some of the wording in the Miami Herald story, (link below.) I find it perpetuates the idea that this was something less than it was:

“…other influential people who were having sex with underage girls

“Sex with underage girls” is child sex abuse, child rape, child molestation, etc.

    “Sex” is between consenting adults.
  • Alex Acosta, who resigned from his White House appointment when his part in Epstein’s ”sweetheart deal” became public, defied federal law by keeping information about the plea deal from victims.

“The non-prosecution agreement was sealed until after it was approved by the judge, thereby averting any chance that the girls — or anyone else — might show up in court and try to derail it.” ~Miami Herald

The Epstein case was re-opened when two victims argued that their rights had been violated when information about Epstein’s plea deal was not shared.

“Congress didn’t provide for remedies for circumstances like this because it was inconceivable to Congress that there would be a conspiracy between our government and a serial child molester — who could have conceived of that?’’ ~Scarila, one of the victim’s attorneys.

The children Epstein targeted have been victimized three times now: first by Epstein and his clients, then by Alex Acosta who allowed Epstein to walk away, and now by prosecutors refusing to correct this miscarriage of justice.

On January 15, 2019, during his confirmation hearings, Attorney General Bill Barr was questioned about the Epstein case. Would he commit to looking into the matter?

He did. He looked into closing the case.
