The results of yesterday’s elections should have left Republicans in Congress shaking in their Testoni shoes. Democrats won it all. People are angry.
Will self preservation impel Republicans in Congress to fund the ACA so Democrats will vote to end the government shutdown? Will SNAP funds be released?
Release the Epstein files.
No. This shutdown is the only way Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson can postpone swearing in Democrat Adelita Grijalva.
She is the last vote required to release the Epstein files. Trump is in the files, and he’s surrounded himself with malleable cogs.
I’m afraid to get too excited because I know Trump is working to disenfranchise democratic voters in next November’s election, the one that could shift the power in Congress. My fears aside, this is a start, and it’s the win we needed to keep the faith.
