When does “enough” finally mean enough? I’m at the point now that I feel my words regarding the felon are not worth the effort it takes to hit publish. It’s all been said many times, and nothing has changed. But the footage yesterday of that orange excrement shoved in sausage skin, who thinks golden toilets are thrones, desecrating a 225-year-old building, is heartbreaking. What gives him the authority? It was bad enough that he destroyed the Rose Garden… that is fixable.

He will replace the East Wing with a $230 million “private ballroom” where he and his unethical enablers can celebrate their tax cuts.

Our health insurance is the East Wing—metaphorically speaking.
Donald Trump stated he wouldn’t touch or interfere with the White House. He said the same about Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food assistance, and the ACA.
When questioned by selected compliant reporters, this is the discussion that transpired. He is inventing a conversation with a federal worker involved in this vandalism.
“I said, ‘How long will it take me?’” he recalled. “‘Sir, you can start tonight, you have no approvals.’ I said, ‘You gotta be kidding.’ They said, ‘Sir, this is the White House, you’re the president of the United States, you can do anything you want.’”
“As of September, the White House had not even submitted plans to the National Capital Planning Commission, which by law must approve construction for most federal buildings.” ~ the Associated Press
The president and his allies claim Trump doesn’t need approval for the demolition and building. They also shoot puppies, kidnap people off the street, and protect pedophiles.
A three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has authorized President Trump to deploy the National Guard to Portland, overturning a lower court’s ruling that blocked the move. This decision sets a dangerous precedent, giving Trump the green light to do the same in other blue cities. He will try to use his power to interfere with the vote in the midterm elections.
Trump knows many of his voters have caught on. Democrats are poised to retake Congress, and his unchecked slide into authoritarianism may finally come to an end.
The Supreme Court is complicit.

The timing is no coincidence. The government is closed and the House Republican Epstein Shutdown continues.

Republican Speaker Mike Johnson has had the House adjourned for 77 out of the last 89 days.

They’ve worked only 12 days in the past three months—all to avoid swearing in the newly elected representative, Democrat Adelita Grijalva, whose vote would finally trigger the release of the Epstein files.

I about cried when I saw the demolition started yesterday. So what happened to prior approval? That went out the window? What about the building not being touched in the process? That was a lie, too? First he takes down democracy, then our morale and now the White House. Do we even realize what a mess we are in? And how much time will be spent building our country back up once he is gone…in a little over three years. It is going to take a long time to undo all the damage he has inflicted on us.

I hope we have the chance to find out how long it will take to reverse the damage.
I can’t believe how far we’ve fallen.

I can barely stand to look at it. But we have to, right. Incredible.
