Under the leadership of Speaker of the House, Trump shill Republican Mike Johnson, the government has been shut down since October 01/2025. Twelve days of GOP pedophile protectors in hiding while workers, including the military, do not get paid.
Hold up… that’s not right. Congress is still getting paid. Mike Johnson makes $223,500 to lie, and the House Republicans he “leads” all make $174,000 per year, no matter how little they work. They continue to receive healthcare benefits. (Who pays for that?) The House of Representatives has only been in session 14 days since July 25.
The message Republicans are attempting to spread is that this is the Democrats doing. Trump, Mike Johnson, Mike Lee, drunk uncle Pete … all of them are all saying Democrats voted against paying troops during the shutdown.
The reason Mike Johnson is hiding:
1. To forward Project 2025’s agenda to end the Affordable Healthcare Act.
2. To avoid swearing in the latest elected official who will vote to release the Epstein file. Her vote is the magic number to release the file that features the felon-in-chief.
The problems for Republicans:
1. The public knows Republicans control Congress and the White House, meaning they bear responsibility for it all.
2. It is October, time to renew healthcare plans. We have eyes and can see our premiums and coverage will cost double thanks to Trump. The government shutdown continues because Democrats are fighting to keep your healthcare costs from increasing even more- up to 400%. Few of us will be able to keep our healthcare plans.
3. Our system of healthcare is not normal. Every other country in the industrialized world has universal healthcare. They have no health insurance middleman getting rich, driving up prices, and denying claims. More people are realizing that. (Tell them.)

I can’t help but wonder when people are going to remember that the rallying cry of the American Revolution was “no taxation without representation”. The system has devolved to where the uber-wealthy have representation without taxation and the House of REPRESENTATIVES isn’t even bothering to show up for work. What is the modern equivalent of tea? I think we need to plan a party.

It looks like to me the GOP isn’t worried about anything because they’re betting on there not being any midterm elections, or they’re sure the elections are going to be rigged, for sure, in their favor…
And if all the members and leaders in the Republican Party no longer have any moral values, why would they care one way or another about the Epstein Files?
Enough Americans voted for their bully rich-boy gold-calf to get back into the White House, that I’m sure it wasn’t too hard for wiz-kid Musk to tip the scales for an inedibility of Humpty Dumpty’s victory over Kamala. Now it’s obvious to me that we’re surrounded by Nazis.

Since Trump, election results don’t match the polls, and no one seems to notice. Kamala had the numbers. Why wasn’t anything challenged? I don’t know how we get out of this. Waiting for the next election, and then the one after, is insane.
There is still an idiot on my block with a Trump/Vance sign on his lawn. He has an ADT surveillance warning next to it. The election was almost a year ago. In football a flag would be thrown and a penalty issued for taunting. My point is that there will always be horrible people among us.
ICE has taken on a Russian tactic. Making individuals so poor that they’ll be desperate enough to join them for mercenary reasons, enticed by offers of signing bonuses and more money for large numbers of victims. They don’t see human beings; they only think kidnapping people with brown skin pays $$. (And the benefit for men who like to beat women is getting paid to do it.)
Fighting back in the streets gives Trump an excuse to declare martial law and seize state power, allowing him to “postpone” future elections. I don’t see how this can end well.

I have found Jessica Denson on her podcast Lights On to be the most effective Joan of Arc on this issue.
And the governor of Illinois, backed-up by a few generals , today has pretty effectively nullified the U.S. President’s National Guard charade, in a little speech. Not to mention the court action the governor’s administration has instigated.
Stupid Boy in the white house seems to be gathering up more and more “enemies within” who have the courage and pluck to, well, spitball him out the door…
