Donald Trump Has Lost Control of the Narrative

Let’s review:

Despite being treated as a normal candidate, the Republican nominee for President of the United States, Donald Trump, is a felon, convicted on 34 counts. He is an adjudicated rapist who is still criming. (That should be a word.)

Felons cannot vote in many states. Isn’t it ironic, (Alanis) that they are allowed to run for president in every state?

Watch House Speaker Johnson’s unconscious nod to Trump:

“Including hardened criminals.”

As for J.D Vance, his running mate…

The couch story is fictional, and they want the jokes to stop. Because the jokes have hit a nerve, we cannot stuff the house fitting humor.

Settee down, republicans, who chaise us to couch the unrequited love seat jokes directed at Vladimir Futon. It will take divan intervention for my chesterfield any remorse. Davenport it out, butt they can’t be on the receiving end. It’s sofa king hypocritical.

They don’t like to be called weird.

V.D. Vance wants to monitor your menstrual cycle. That is not a joke, and that is weird.

Moving on.

There are 85 days until the election. Those will be difficult for Donald Trump. He is watching the Harris/Walz team crush it on the daily.

Five rallies in as many days with crowds that resemble a Taylor Swift concert. (Resemble, not rival.) Their brutal schedule so far: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada. I’ve watched them all. Yes, they are repetitive. But the energy is contagious. This is a joyous ticket. They are rock stars and their crowds are increasing daily. Arizona wins the attendance contest with 20,000 for a single rally – so far. The Nevada crowd held over 12,000 individuals, but according to campaign officials, local law enforcement turned away 4,000 people over concerns they were overheating while waiting to get through security in triple-digit heat.

Mainstream media is not covering both campaigns equally. You can watch the rallies live on C-SPAN, or on YouTube the day after.

https://www.c-span.org/video/?537545-1/vp-kamala-harris-gov-tim-walz-campaign-las-vegas

Crowd size matters to Donald. And although his are sparse, he can console himself knowing that he holds a record for crowd size in a different category. 1,500 people have been charged in the US Capitol siege. That is a lot of arrests for one event, in one-day, ordered by one man. Judge Chutkin is moving forward with the 1/6 D.C. case against Hair Furor.

The dynamic duo seems to have left Trump stunned. His attack strategy is obsolete. Who is the old guy now? President Biden’s age is irrelevant and ageism is biting DonOld on his diaper clad arse. He is today the oldest person ever to run for president. DonOld is confused about what to do next, so he has reverted to disparaging every group of voters he might have wanted to sway.

Kamala and Tim have shaken the disengaged crowd. I am confident GenZ will show up to vote. Coach Walz has captured the independent voters with his humor and relatability. Between the pair, the information regarding Trump’s plan, “Project 2025” is reaching people who don’t follow politics. Check out page 487. In that one page, we learn that DonOLD wants to make C-sections, labor inducing medications, and EPIDURALS illegal.

Ladies, they👏🏻hate👏🏻us👏🏻.

Regarding reproductive rights, Tim Walz says:

“MIND YOUR OWN DAMNED BUSINESS!”

It is personal to him because his daughter was conceived using IVF.

Let’s discuss Donald’s rally in Bozeman, Montana, a state that Republicans have carried in every presidential race since 1996. His flight crew declared an emergency and diverted to Billings. What kind of mechanical was it? Perhaps it was a fake one. Donald Trump doesn’t pay his bills. Since 2020, he has owed Bozeman $12,000 in landing fees. He also owes Billings police department $58,830. The emergency landing may have been confirmation that pigs can’t fly, or just a con-artist’s way around the airport’s refusal to accommodate him. In an emergency, there is no choice but to let the airplane land.

Unpaid debt is the reason Trump holds his rallies outside, no matter the weather, because he owes every venue for previous use.

The victim card:

One outdoor rally made his campaign “assassination attempt” stunt possible. Don’t give me, “you are so stupid; people died!” If anyone really died, they were collateral damage. Human life means nothing to DonOld. He won’t discuss his miraculously fast healing ear. This warrants an investigation.

Then, “Donald Trump’s computer was hacked.” Source ~Donald Trump.

Shall we review?

  • “Someone tried to shoot me. “
  • “Someone tried to sabotage my plane. “
  • “Someone hacked me.”
  • “I survived a harrowing helicopter crash.”
  • “Someone tried to sell me an extended warranty.”
  • “Help me be president or someone will put me in jail.”

This is a reminder to register to vote, and then check your voter registration, and check it again next month and again. Reports of voter rolls being purged are rampant. Don’t let anyone steal your voice.

    1. Money is the only reason this group of lunatics has come this far. If we can win both branches of congress and the executive branch we can expand the court, then we might be able to fix our system of elections so the majority always wins, like the democracy we are supposed to be.
Then maybe the Heritage Foundation can take a ride on SpaceX with Elon and find another planet to screw up.
They are crazy. Power, money, control over women… I know JD Vance’s mother was an addict. Maybe all these people are broken.
Not my problem though. No sympathy. Just couch jokes.

The Senate is going to be extremely hard to expand the majority in. More than likely, we lose it outright. If we do lose the Senate, the Republicans will do away with the filibuster in case you were naive enough to think they would allow Democrats to block any of their legislation.

There are only five states where the outcome of the election is in question: Montana, Arizona, Texas, Florida, and West Virginia. In my view, the only one whose outcome is in question is Montana. Tester has a good chance of winning there again. He’s well liked in Montana. It was Trump’s hatred of Tester (he blocked Ronnie Jackson’s nomination to head the VA) that made him rally there last week.

Right now, Montana, Arizona, and West Virginia are all Democratic seats. We’ll lose West Virginia. There is almost no way we can win it. If it turns into a blue wave election, then we might could take Texas and Florida. Neither Cruz or Scott are very well liked in their states.

We lose West Virginia, we have a 50-50 Senate. We lose WV and Montana, we have a Republican majority. That looks like a very likely outcome.

      2. Thank you for that! I’ve been too distracted by the presidency to look at Congress. The House is gerrymandered to give the minority the win, but the Senate… damn. It seems like we can’t catch a break.
I have to quote “Gone With the Wind” Scarlet O’Hara,
“I can’t think about this right now; I’ll go crazy if I do. I’ll think about it tomorrow.”

This is a real tough Senate year for the Dems. We have twenty-two seats to defend versus eleven for the Republicans. Some of our most vulnerable seats are on the ballot, too. Hopefully, we’ll see a wave election and hold on to our slim majority.

      4. Hello Jack!

I’m paying attention to Congressional races now. It will be close, but if we hold a slim majority in the Senate, it will be an improvement because two Trojan horses aren’t seeking reelection- Sinema and Manchin. They have blocked all meaningful reform.

A little off-topic: There are Trump signs on two lawns in my neighborhood. I will never understand people who shamelessly support a convicted felon for President .

If the rate of “news” being made right now ever lets up, I’ll publish an article on the role that cognitive dissonance plays in supporting the Felonious Rapist Traitor.

      1. The media is ADHD and if things aren’t getting clicks they stop running with it. MSNBC is still doing some pieces on it and there is a good series on YouTube by Molly Jong-Fast.

  1. Completely out of his realm, Trump has a new word to throw at Harris/Walz: ‘freakish.’ That’s all the old guy could come up with. And his whippersnapper of a VP is crying that he and Donnie Boy are being ‘bullied’ by Harris/Walz. Do these two guys listen to themselves?!

You can add North Carolina to your list of turn around states. Polling out today has Harris and Trump tied at 46% a piece. With the cray-cray for coco puffs gubernatorial candidate that they got, it looks pretty likely that we’ll win NC. Too bad it doesn’t have a Senate seat in the election.

    1. We can remind voters that abortion is on the ballot. A gallop pole found 63% of Americans said overturning Roe v. Wade was a bad thing. Gallop (IMO) is skewed to the right, so the sum may be higher. Pew divided pro-choice by age. For younger adults, the ban is a deal-breaker that will motivate them to vote. Maybe that will help.

I think abortion is our ace in the hole. When Trump said he didn’t think that abortion was a big issue, it told you that it is a HUGE issue. Arizona just added a ballot measure on abortion for November. I believe Missouri has, too. It’s still early, but I’m starting to feel hopeful.

      2. And, they are relying on issues being flash-in-the-pan rather than brooded upon. They think they’re the only ones who can exploit grievance, but we are aggrieved over Dobbs. It sticks in the craw, especially among women. It may be the only thing that the electorate will punish the Republican Party for it rather than their fascism, corruption, and dishonesty.

Dobbs arguably helped blunt the losses in the House and expand the Senate by one seat. It may also explain some of the enthusiasm that Harris is generating, too. We’ll see.
