The Supreme Court Decided Presidents Can Commit Crimes

“This office not only tests your judgement, but… it can test your character, because you need not only the courage to exercise the full power of the presidency, you also face moments where you need the wisdom to respect the limits of the office.” ~ Joe Biden, 46th President

The irony is that the SCOTUS decreed and dashed, left town for a break in commemoration of Independence Day … from a sovereign nation! The 4th of July is not about fireworks displays. Why celebrate now, knowing that an autocrat could rule the United States? Like Queen Bloody Mary, Despot Donald will seek revenge against all perceived enemies, as his first order of business. He said as much. What we stand to lose is devastating.

“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

~U.S. Constitution Article II, Section 4 states

How is it that the Supreme Court can overrule an amendment? I’ll wait.

They all lied to be confirmed.

This Supreme Court has torched the constitution. They planned to do this all along: Now there is nothing that falls in the category for a President that can be considered high crimes and misdemeanors. They are exempt from the law.

Democracy Docket

As official acts, according to the Supreme Court, President Biden could get to work on:

  • First, reaffirming Roe v Wade
  • Issue an Executive Order that prohibits convicted felons from running for president or any other political office
  • Arrest all insurrectionists in Congress
  • Drug test politicians
  • Expand the court, with added term limits, and a binding ethics code.
  • Investigate SCOTUS and their wives’ corruption. Impeach the unethical.
  • End the electoral college and gerrymandering because Democrats and Independents outnumber republicans by over three to one. Democracy means majority rules.
  • Reverse the decision made by the SCOTUS today.
  • Eternal President Biden must arrest Donald Trump for stealing and selling classified documents. He is a national security risk.
  • Ban bump stocks again.

If you think my wish list is too extreme, and would go against our system of government, President Biden agrees. He will not use the powers granted today. Our only other option is to VOTE. Everyone. Imagine democrats keeping the Presidency and a majority in the Senate and taking the House. My list listed could happen.

Trump wants revenge and now he has permission to exact it.

I believe President Biden has most America supporting him. The polls that show a close race, I suspect, are manipulated to raise expectations among Trump supporters. We are in a situation that can’t end well. If Trump somehow wins, we surrender our democracy. We will bow down to extremist Christian Nationalists who will dictate our world. Women lose all autonomy. We will lose Social Security and healthcare. Homelessness becomes a crime. Mass deportation will begin. Anyone who is not a straight white Christian man should be worried.

What kind of person votes for this kind of person?

But, if we all vote, and he loses, he will incite another riot. He has already started his inflammatory speeches. This is scary and I hope everyone understands that.

SCOTUS, SCOTUS, SCOTUS… [shaking my head] you just cut off your nose to spite your face. You are no longer a co-equal branch of government.

Need some good news?

Trump’s sentencing hearing in New York is on July 11. There are few ways his lawyers can try to overturn the decision, but he will appeal anyway. He faces up to four years and, considering he won’t stop threatening the judge, he should (IMO) go to jail.

Steve Bannon reported to prison today to begin his four-month sentence for contempt of Congress. He was likely forced to shower.

  1. What aggravates me is how Trump seems to always get what he wants. Is everyone afraid of him? Even SCOTUS?! Sonia Sotomayor’s dissent lays it all out. What did the other not understand? Just when you think our world cannot get any darker–it does.
