A moderate, if you can call any of them that, House Republican has complained that Jim Jordan is trying to bully his way into the role of Speaker of the house. How so?
- Jordan spent the weekend telling his Republican colleagues members, vote for me, or “I will primary you!” That is a Trump ploy. Gym only holds office because his district has been gerrymandered into the shape of a crane, the bird. He thinks he has the political muscle to “primary” someone?
- Doxing: He and his friends have been publishing the private personal information of those who have not offered support. He is punishing phone numbers without the consent of those individuals.
Representative Jim Jordan is the person who protected a sexual predator, ignoring students asking for help when he coached at Ohio State.
He called a pregnant ten-year-old rape victim a liar.
Jordan was involved in every aspect of Trump’s attempt to overthrow the government on 1/6.
He is the best the GOP offers.

Meanwhile, Judge Tanya Chutkan presides over Mr. Trump’s case on charges of conspiring to overturn the 2020 election, has imposed a partial gag order on Donald Trump, and she enjoyed every minute of it.
She added: “This trial will not yield to the election cycle, and we will not revisit the March 4 trial date.”
Trump cannot attack Jack Smith, his staff or family, nor can he abuse court personnel or witnesses. He can criticize Mike Pence, but he can’t talk about Pence’s role in the events that involved this case.

I find the media being willing to label the defense as “first amendment rights of a presidential candidate” offensive. This is allowing the defendant to dictate the narrative. They are not making the point of why the gag order is necessary with the same emphasis.
This is from the Cornell law school web site:
“Assault is generally defined as an intentional act that puts another person in reasonable apprehension of imminent harmful or offensive contact. No physical injury is required, but the actor must have intended to cause a harmful or offensive contact with the victim and the victim must have thereby been put in immediate apprehension of such a contact.”
I’m no law expert but seems like this is relevant, and that the media should be making this point, with the same ad nauseam frequency as they parrot the other narrative.

I agree. The rich people, pulling media strings want to keep their tax cut. Treating Trump like a normal candidate is when he faces 91 criminal counts is not unbiased journalism.
