Three Questions
Don’t you hate when people begin their posts with a question? Does it bother you that you can’t respond to the questions’ bloggers post? And, third question, did you know that Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Bad Moon Rising’” is a three – chord song?
I’m assuming you responded, yes, yes, no, to which I will reply: same.
In honor of the song’s scribe, John Fogerty, and the number three, I have unrelated news stories to share.
- Question: What is less than four but more than two?
- Answer: The number of news stories that follow.

Enrique Tarrio
Six-months from today, Donald J(ackass) Trump will be tried in DC for seditious conspiracy. As of September 6, 2023, 1,146 MAGA cult members have been indicted for taking part in the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol. Of the felonies, 317 have been charged with obstructing an official proceeding and 398 with assault, including assaulting police officers. To date, 657 insurrectionists have pleaded guilty. The department of justice has sentenced 623.
I am here today, to present the MAGA (Many Americans Getting Arrested) Award, honoring the useful idiots who threw themselves under the bus for the most blatant all around criminal to walk the face of the earth. And, the award for ‘earning the longest sentence to date, for seditious conspiracy, in connection to the January 6 attack against the U.S.’ goes to, [slowly opens envelope while flashing a knowing smirk to the audience, then reads] Capitol Insurrectionist …39-year-old former leader of the far-right Proud Boys, [anticipation builds] … Enrique Tarrio! [crowd goes wild] The Proudest of Boys was awarded 22-years in prison.
This is impressive because Tarrio was not at the Capitol on 1/6. He was the mastermind behind efforts to block the counting of electoral votes at the Capitol, and he directed members who were on scene.
Tarrio was not alone in his planning, and for that reason, Donald Trump must be jiggling with fear, dropping orange bricks into his jumbo depends.

Louis DeJoy
Today we commemorate Louis DeJoy, the Trump appointed postmaster general who disassembled 671 U.S. Postal sorting machines, and destroyed parts, to ensure reassembling them was not possible. Those devices could sort 21.4 million pieces of paper mail per hour. Besides slowing down mail before the election by destroying sorters, DeJoy removed thousands of mailboxes weeks before the 2020 election. His motivation was to nullify mail-in ballots by returning them past the imposed deadline.
The Post Master General ignored a federal judge’s order to sweep processing plants after the discovery that over 300,000 scanned ballots could not be traced.
Well, Trump-appointed U.S. Postmaster, Louis DeJoy may have licked his own stamp. (I don’t know what that means either, but my thumbs type to the beat of their own drummer.) The Senate has finally approved Biden’s Postal Board nominees, meaning Biden appointees are now the majority and can vote DeJoy out.

Peter Navarro
Today, one of Trump’s former advisors, Peter Navarro, is attending his trial at the federal courthouse in DC, in his Contempt of Congress case. This pertains to his failure to acknowledge his subpoena from the House January 6 committee.
Navarro was one of many who disregarded House committee subpoenas, but he is the first to face consequences.
Eighteen-months have passed since Navarro ignored a congressional subpoena. The arm of justice may be long, but it is an appendage that moves as if it’s been asleep, before pins and needles slowly bring back feeling, and it reclaims vitality.

Lydia–the best post! I laughed so hard at your MAGA award ceremony. Yes, I could see this happening. It was perfect.
Navarro–if ever there was a smart ass jerk that you wanted to slap really hard–he is it.
Dammit–I was already to get comfortable and watch the really big show in Georgia today, but darn if they didn’t all plead ‘Not Guilty’ so there goes my morning of fun. What now?
DeJoy is going away? Let’s all mail him sympathy cards. 🤣

🤗 We shouldn’t send those sympathy cards until he’s replaced, until then they might get lost in the mail.
