Online Privacy Protection—Sold to the Highest Bidder

President Donald Trump has pulled the last nail out of the coffin. I know the idiom is “put the last nail in the coffin”, but I reversed it because of what is in the coffin. 

Everything in our search engines is now undead, and our internet service providers are permitted to sell that information (without our permission, and without sharing the profits with us) to advertisers and other third parties. 

This repeal overturns Obama-era privacy protections despite criticism that it undermines online safety and enables unconstitutional mass surveillance.

So, what will this mean to me? I imagine once my search history is sold by Comcast to various advertisers, the information will be analyzed I will be bombarded with the following advertisements:






I can’t deny my interest in shopping early for Christmas.
