A Budget, A Bombing, and A Boozer

The Budget

Senator Mitch McConnell thinks we’ll forget.
Everyone should know by now that we cannot trust Trump’s sycophant, Speaker Mike Johnson.

One of the GOP’s practiced liars, Mike Johnson, says, “We are not cutting Medicaid; we’re strengthening the program.”

“Able-bodied men need to work.”

Facts Mike pretends don’t exist:

  • 64% of Medicaid adults worked full or part time
  • 12% were caring for dependents,
  • 10% were disabled or in poor health,
  • 7% were in school.
  • Just 8% were not working or unable to find work.
  • Medicaid fraud less than 1*

They will add more red tape to a process difficult to navigate without an advocate.

  • 1.75 million veterans rely on Medicaid.
  • Medicaid is the largest source of health care coverage in the U.S., covering half of all children, 40% of births (50% in rural area), many fixed-income elderly and disabled individuals, and those working adults in low-wage jobs. Empathy? Do Republicans feel any obligation to the people who elect them?

Trump’s bill adds red tape to a system already difficult to navigate. People will give up. That’s what the Republican goal is.

Musk justified creating DOGE, promising to find widespread beneficiary fraud. The number was negligible. Despite his departure, the attacks he initiated, against those struggling the most, continue.

Congress continues tweaking Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” and passing it between the House and Senate. The cuts of $600 Billion from Medicaid are never altered. They have a self-imposed deadline to sign the bill, of July 04. I suppose there must be some kind of symbolism, using Independence Day to pass a bill that hurts the masses. Imagine how the largest transfer of wealth in our nation’s history could translate to a commendation of people’s sovereignty from a king. It is irony at its worst.

MIKE JOHNSON LIES.

Every American needs to know this.

They lie about the harm of “reigning in waste” by health insurance, and they do not mention the benefits that Trumps “Big Beautiful Bill Budget” will have on the 99.9% who don’t need it. The legislation itself would result in:

  • 10.9 million people losing health coverage by 2034,
  • And that another 5.1 million would lose insurance from the scheduled expiration of an expanded premium tax credit and marketplace rule.

Let’s discuss billionaires on the receiving end of federal subsidies. Those no one discusses:

  • (Oh) Elno Musk: $38 billion, as of 02/26/2025 and counting.
  • Amazon’s Jeff Bezos: $11,612,780,628 (11.6 billion) as of 01/31/2025 and counting.
  • And I’ll leave continue this list in photo for the visual learners.

A Bombing

He can’t spell his own name.

Key considerations following Trump’s illegal and reckless bombing of Iran:

  1. Trump created the Iran nuclear threat by tearing up President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran. It was WORKING, but petty, jealous, racist, 45 wants to erase Obama, the fourth U.S. president to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. You can’t remove his legacy, lumpy.
  2. If Trump doesn’t follow constitutional constraints now, he never will. We are in danger.
  • The United States provides Israel with $3.8 billion in annual aid. Under Netanyahu’s leadership, that funding is helping fuel the killing of Palestinian children. Criticizing his actions is not antisemitism—it’s accountability.

My reason for highlighting a few of our federal government handouts to the rich and their corporations that don’t need it, is to show that cutting $800 billion from Medicaid, is a choice, not a necessity. Trump’s tax cuts for his friends, even after throwing so many under the bus, adds $2.4 trillion. Where is the conscience of the Republican Party? Do they feel empathy, or are they all psychopaths?

A Boozer

Let’s watch Pete Kegsbreath get schooled, by reporter Jennifer Griffin, after attempting Trump’s practice of attacking the press when they ask questions that highlight his incompetence. Failed like a breathalyzer.

“Don’t leave anything for later. Later, the coffee gets cold. Later, you lose interest. Later, the day turns into night. Later, people grow up. Later, people grow old. Later, life goes by. Later, you regret not doing something when you had the chance to.” ~Toshikazu Kawaguchi

Later, we won’t recognize our country or our lives. We need to remove Trump from office — now.

  1. ‘We’re looking at all aspects of intelligence.” Well, that’s the problem right there. There is no intelligence!! And Hegseth takes issue with being corrected on all the ‘boys in bombers.’? He doesn’t ‘play those little games’? I repeat–there is no intelligence. What is his problem??!!

Did we realize how bad Trump was going to be? This is a nightmare that we cannot shake.

    1. I imagine Hegseth is used to FOX News, where no one questioned him (and also drunk.) He should have to do a breathalyzer before they turn on his mic. We’d never hear from him again.
Trump is doing exactly what he tried to do during his first term. The difference is yes-people- his cabinet, congress, and SCOTUS surround him.
SCOTUS ruled it’s ok to deport migrants to countries other than the one they came from. Trump has free rein to abuse immigrants.

This is almost not worth mentioning because these brats have no power. ‘The New York Young Republican Club’ (NY Nazi Ass) is asking to deport Mamdani, the winner of the democratic primary for mayor in New York. He was born in Uganda.

I can’t see a way out of this, but his behavior is turning more people against him every day.

      1. I hope it does turn people away. There is being angry with people and wanting revenge. And then there is Trump. No way that can be acceptable behavior for anyone–especially the President of the United States, for cryin’ out loud!
