Trump’s Reverse Robin Hood Bill Passes in the House

Like it or not, if you voted Republican, you chose to take from the poor and give to the rich — that’s precisely what Trump’s budget bill delivers, and it passed in the House.

Last night, legislation passed 215-214-1 after protracted talks, and tweaks of the original bill. Next it goes to the republican majority senate for a vote, and that’s it.

Don’t let Republicans ever say they care about fiscal responsibility because this bill will add $2.4 trillion to the national debt over ten years, despite slashing social services.

A select group of rich men have manipulated the ignorant for decades. It has kept the poorest among us stagnant, angry, and lashing out at those who try to help. “Own the libs.” Russian propaganda works, and everyone who comes forward at this point to lament their vote for Trump, admitting they’ve been owned … I can’t feel empathy for you. You had to know some of Trump’s history and beliefs. You’re only sorry that having him in office is affecting you.

Low-income, military, and women who voted republican mystify me. Why would they elect officials who intend to hurt them? GOP politicians, bribed and afraid of Trump, continue to give him every tool he needs to decimate the economy. Medicaid is next in the crosshairs.

Medicaid, if you don’t know, is healthcare insurance for individuals who can’t meet the cost of healthcare because of a lost job, disability, or being bound by circumstance to a company that does not provide insurance or a living wage, the working poor. Some people only need the help for a short period of time.

What Pete said last week was true. They cut more from Medicaid and have passed the bill.

It pays for 41% of all births in the United States. By voting for republicans, you have chosen the party that will take birth control away, to promote pregnancies, then force women to have babies without insurance.

Musk has said he will save “half a trillion dollars” lost through waste, fraud, and abuse. That is a random number he spit out to try to sway an audience during an interview. In fact, taxpayers provide the richest guy on the planet, Elon Musk, subsidies for Tesla and SpaceX, totaling $8 million DAILY. That is waste, fraud, and abuse. He is conspiring to take Social Security. This South African man who entered the country on a student visa, never attended school, and never left, hired college aged nerds to hack into the national treasury. Why is he involved in our government?

Because he hacked the election for Trump.

I’ve got your waste, fraud, and abuse right here.

Thank republicans again for allowing minimum wage to remain stagnant while inflations does not. Fewer jobs provide healthcare. Companies like Amazon and Walmart pay their workers so little that many subsidize their salary with taxpayer funded social services. By withholding a fair income, corporations like Walmart force the government to meet the difference, subsidizing compensation and providing full-time employees with healthcare (Medicaid) to keep people off the streets and alive. That is a backdoor tax credit for those businesses that, given a choice, pocket profits that should be wages.

Donald Trump and his Project 2025 creators have dealt a cruel blow that puts more money in the pockets of those who don’t need it, by taking crumbs from those who have little.

To those who voted for the felon, who filed bankruptcy six times to avoid paying contractors and vendors for services rendered, Donald Trump, thinking he would improve the economy, you know who you are, and your ignorance will hurt you. I’m great with that. You should suffer. The problem is you are like a drowning man pulling the rest of us down with you. The bill will reduce household resources for the lowest-income households the families are already struggling, by 2% in 2027 and 4% in 2033. You can thank your stupidity for cuts to health and nutrition programs. Children will go without meals.

Although they don’t need more handouts, they already get tax breaks, we do not, Congress passed economic “stimulus packages” (welfare for the rich) that transfer your money into the pockets of their friends. The richest demographic will enjoy a tax cut that will result in a 4% rise wealth in 2027 and 2% in 2033, thanks to YOU Republican voters.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that under Trump’s bill 7.6 million will lose insurance coverage.

The other 85 million people on Medicaid will have less coverage and need to prioritize food, shelter, and lifesaving medication. Before Biden, many diabetics were not taking their insulin as prescribed, which cost $400 before Biden reduced it to $35. Donald Trump revoked that deal.

Medicaid supplements low income Medicare recipients, not covered by a prescription drug plans. Medicare alone attributes an annual death rate of 1.1 million caused by people rationing or going without unaffordable drugs. Big Pharma has been allowed to gouge people in the U.S. Payoffs by lobbyists to members of Congress have also caused the price of healthcare insurance to skyrocket. Those costs, like tariff taxes, are passed on to consumers.

The middle class has always carried the weight for our social services. The rich have bought the government and conned the red states into voting against their interests. The poor will suffer. How many private jets and yachts do you need, Mr. Bezos? How did you and Musk justify taking a ride in a phallic projectile while most of the country struggles to pay bills? (You too, Zuckerberg.)

This bill will also pay for their cruel treatment of people seeking asylum.

“Just got word that Secretary Noem is asking for an addition to her budget – a new private Gulfstream 5 jet for her personal national photo op tour. She’s already got a private plane but wants a tricked out new one. All while she supports kicking 13 million people off Medicaid.” ~ Senator Chris Murphy

Kristi Noem is the lady who wrote in her autobiography about the murder by shooting of her unruly puppy. She has the same level of empathy for the human species. She is in charge of homeland security, illegally spending more than budgeted, and focusing on deportations while ignoring the bigger threat to our democracy of cyberattacks.

  1. If the tax breaks were removed from the bill the deficit would go away…Any Good Ole Pervert who mentions fiscal responsibility needs to have that fact shoved in their face. Over and over and over.

The estimate of how much this will add to the deficit/debt is way too low. The estimate assumes a GDP growth rate of 3%, not seen in decades. Last quarter the “growth” was negative. Also, interest rates have already risen above the estimates used to calculate the impact.
This bill borrows money, on which interest must be paid, to finance a tax break for people who don’t spend money. As a percentage of their income the uber-wealthy spend next to nothing. It is simply stupid.
