The House vote on the Trump/Musk budget is this afternoon. The Grand Old Party is good at appeasing constituents by claiming they won’t cut Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, but let’s see what happens, shall we? They are as afraid of Trump as he is of Putin. I have no confidence in the words Republicans say. None.

The National Transportation Safety Board, the larger agency that houses the FAA, was cut and almost immediately: It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s falling out of the sky. Midair crashes and tarmac (where planes taxi, after landing) collisions, totaled 12 when I stopped counting. That is just one example of how dangerous it is to put someone in a position of power when they have no knowledge of what it is they’re cutting, nor do they care to know.
This is a game for Elon Musk and Mr. Trump. They’re indiscriminately shutting down entire agencies, while purging large numbers of others, replacing them with college age tech nerds. These are the children who hacked the Treasury Department Database.

They are sabotaging agencies with firings to say they found fraud and wasteful spending. They claim their cuts will save the exact amount they proposed to give the rich in tax cuts.

You could find yourself in a position of need in the blink of an eye. This is the United States, where the wealthy get healthcare, an education, and government handouts, while the middle class does a slow slide to meet the poor. The GOP wants to cut Medicaid (healthcare) and food assistance, from 72-million individuals. This will lead to delayed diagnoses, untreated illnesses, and people will die… all to fund tax breaks for the rich.
