Read that again. Russia is not our friend. Are you ready for a shock? U.S. intelligence has confirmed Putin isn’t really seeking a peace deal; his objective is control of Ukraine.
Recent negotiations between the U.S. and Russia, about Ukraine, that excluded Ukraine were never in good faith. Shocking? It shouldn’t be.
Trump’s meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy took place under orders from Putin. Trump was like a cat playing with a mouse, the mouse being Zelenskyy.
This is not new information; Russia has a history of threatening Ukraine.
Trump’s administration is pledging fealty to a war criminal. Russia is not our friend. That is universal knowledge, except to those Americans who’ve fallen victim to decades of targeted propaganda.
According to Trump’s Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, Russia is a country we must align with: “take advantage of the incredible opportunity” to work with Putin geopolitically, economically, and on issues of common interest.
How can we align with a country that occupies sovereign nations, assassinates dissidents, and funds anti-American operations worldwide?
Trump owes Putin everything. Putin kept him solvent, and in exchange he has been working for Putin, plotting to dismantle NATO, seize Ukraine, and carve Europe into small states that will be easier to conquer.
The latest push by Russia is that there must be an election in Ukraine. This is Putin’s attempt to oust the strongest opposition he has met with. Trump and Musk, Russian assets, support the idea. It would not be a real election. Putin would interfere with results and install a corrupt, malleable leader to follow his orders. He did this in Belarus. Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko was installed by Putin, jailing his opposition.

When Trump was “elected,” it was not only the non-billionaire classes that were doomed to lose their futures (social security and healthcare.) The free world recognized this as a win for Putin (one he orchestrated) and Ukraine will suffer.

I am sick about all this. Ukraine is being extorted by Trump. It seems he and Putin think they can divy up the country and control their resources. They will not stop with Ukraine.
