What hellscape is this that people need to be assured migrants are not eating fluffy?
I have mentioned the recently unsealed 277-page FBI indictment of two Russian media operatives who engaged 2,800 social influencers (600 in the U.S.) paying them extremely well to push orchestrated propaganda. With this indictment, the DOJ shows how Russia funneled millions of dollars into the hands of MAGA influencers to divide Americans. The Kremlin has named this manifesto, “Project Good Old USA.” Okay, so why haven’t they shut this down? That isn’t rhetorical, I don’t know the answer. You tell me why.
Looking at the list, you will find we are at:

- 5. Threat of crime coming from people of color and immigrants (including immigrants from Ukraine.)”
Influencers have made the story as absurd as possible: “Haitian migrants are eating pets in Ohio.”
No, my dears, they most certainly are not. It is so ridiculous that it’s almost funny until you remember the goal is to feed our xenophobic fears. There are enough individuals who believe what they read on the internet to make pushing insane reports like this worthwhile. We are all victims of targeted data-driven content. Influencers’ words are directed to people believed to be receptive audiences for far-right propaganda.
👇🏼It’s safe to assume Russian operatives pay these two eejits to spread propaganda. They are all over Twitter. Elon Musk is the worst of them because he forces his posts on everyone, even me. I blocked him a long time ago.
Russia isn’t alone in driving propaganda. We have six groups dominated by billionaires who manage not only what news we receive, but they provide us with the opinion we unwittingly form of each report.

If we had an unbiased media, front page headlines would read:
- Trump vows to imprison election workers if elected.
- Trump’s promise of widespread prosecutions against political opponents highlights his authoritarian tendencies.
- Republicans refuse to speak out on Trump’s threats against public servants.
- DonOLD’s mental decline can be attributed to both his advanced age of 78 and his gluttonous lifestyle.
- Aside from his criminality, Trump is unemployable because it is unlikely he would pass a random drug test for any job.
- Trump, the oldest presidential candidate in history, struggled to stay awake in court when he was found guilty on 34 felony counts.
- If you would not trust Trump alone with your child, why would you give him our nuclear codes?
- If Trump loses this election, he loses his freedom. If he wins, we lose ours.
Speaking of Elon Musk, he loves to speak out against government subsidies for the poor and middle class. Here’s a list of the billions of dollars his businesses have received.
Once again, I’m closing with a reminder to register to vote, if it’s not too late where you live request a mail-in a ballot and mail it in a timely manner, vote early, confirm your registration, pick up friends and neighbors who need a ride to the polling station. If you wait until Election Day, allow time for chaos. Republicans have been known to take machines out of service to make lines so long people will give up without voting.
If your vote didn’t matter, they wouldn’t be trying so hard to keep you from voting.

How can people listen to the vileness that comes out of Vance’s and Trump’s mouths and think that is acceptable? That is rhetorical, but I just don’t get it.
I can get almost sick with anxiousness, though, thinking about the debate tonight, but I will be watching.

I hope they turn off the mics when his time is up. It would be great if they live fact checked but that’s too much to ask. This makes me nervous too.

Even with the mics off, I’m waiting for him to do something crazy. And, I mean, if she walks out in heels to make herself 5’7″, he will go ballistic. Let the games begin!
