As bored as I am with the would be election spoiler, I promised to write a post on Independent candidate RFK Jr, and I keep my word. Short as it will be. He has seemingly vanished from the campaign trail and in polls. Where did he go? A bear skeleton has escaped his closet.
Let’s travel back ten years. The lucky guy was driving behind a woman whose car hit and killed a “small bear.” As we all are wont to do when we see road kill, he pulled over to toss the beast in his van. This reminds me of a scene in the movie “Tommy Boy”…
Robert planned to “skin it and eat it… later,” but he had shit to do first. He left the dead bear in his van and went on a *falconing outing, and a subsequent dinner with friends. As dinner was winding down, he noticed the time and realized he had a flight to catch, which allowed no time to deal with the bear. Leaving it in his van “would have been bad.”

A completely sober RFK Jr. suggested to his drunken friends that they head to Central Park and stage a bike / bear accident. He happened to have a bike in his van. Someone had given it to him to get rid of. 🤔 How perfectly the stars aligned to complete the task.
So they did that. He made his flight, and the next day the bear in Central Park story was all over the news. Helicopters hovered over the park and police taped off the area. He was concerned that his because his fingerprints were all over the bike, this bear would come back to haunt him. Time marched on.
A decade later, this has come back to haunt him. The New York Post got hold of the information and was planning to publish it. Perhaps as an effort by Rupert Murdoch, who owns the rag, to remove RFK Jr. from the race on Trump’s behalf. RFK Jr. thought offering his tale, before the New York Post released a more damning scenario, would be best. His version could not be worse than the one to be published. The cherry on top is that he tells the story on tape to Roseanne Barr. I’m being kind when I say I think he shows poor judgment.
The shunned Kennedy’s last public event was in Freeport, Maine, on July 9. He was polling at 10% when Biden was the democratic nominee, but now has tanked to 4%. Contrary to the intentions of his financial supporters, his votes are leached from Trump.
What is wrong with him? Should this person be in possession of the nuclear codes? He lacks impulse control, isn’t that a red flag?
The crazier Trump behaves, the more voters flip to RFK Jr., who hides his insanity behind the name of his father. (His entire family has said they do not support his politics.)
