It seems like a no-brainer to say I prefer presidents who can vote for themselves, without consulting an attorney because they aren’t felons. Why isn’t everyone onboard with this stipulation?
Can Donald Trump vote as a convicted felon? It depends on the state.
It’s ridiculous that the laws for running for president are stricter than those for voting, but they are.

Florida seems like a no to me… except the Guvnah of the sunshine state, Ron DeSantis, will allow it. Trump lives by rules that do not apply to those of us who pay taxes and are not felons.

Is Felonious Con registered to vote in New York? Nerrr. But if he were, voting wouldn’t be a go.
What countries don’t allow convicted felons to enter?
- Argentina
- Australia
- Canada
- China
- Cuba
- India
- Iran
- Israel
- Japan
- Kenya
- Macau
- New Zealand
- South Africa
- Taiwan
- United Kingdom
- United States – (If he leaves can we deny him re-entry?)
What countries will deny entry if it’s discovered you are a convicted felon?
- Brazil
- Cambodia
- Chile
- Dominican Republic
- Egypt
- Ethiopia
- Hong Kong
- Indonesia
- Ireland
- Malaysia
- Mexico
- Morocco
- Nepal
- Peru
- Philippines
- Singapore
- South Korea
- Tanzania
- Tunisia
- Turkey
- Ukraine
- United Arab Emirates
I like presidents who can travel to other countries because they aren’t felons.
NPR says Trump is “likely to retain his right to vote.” Likely. Thanks for getting a definitive answer, NPR.

Great post! I’d be pleased to repost anything in favor of Kamala Harris or against the former guy.
Democracy should not be in danger and it shouldn’t be on the ballot. The world is watching.

Thank you! You have my permission to repost it all. 75 days left until the election! We’re running out of time and I’m running out of ways to say it.
Reminder to everyone:
Not only register to vote but to check their voter registration regularly.
We can win this if we all vote!
