The Dummies Step-Up to the Microphone … Gagged Ventriloquist Holds a Presser

Our temporary (I’m optimistic) Republican Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, left his job in DC to go to New York to show support to sleepy Donna. As you know, Trump is mid-trial for fraud.

“I wanted to be here myself and call out what is a travesty of justice.” ~Speaker Johnson

The North Dakota Governor, Republican Doug Burgum, was interviewed on CNN. He gave an eloquent recitation of the reasons Trump’s trial should not be. The posturing politician vying to be VP, repeats every accusation made by Trump, that culminated in his gag order.

After Burgum’s monologue, when correspondent Kaitlyn Collins began the question answer part of the interview, he became nervous, less articulate, unconvincing. He is not a good improvisational liar, but he wants that vice president position. Mike Pence escaped the mob on 1/6, the mob that interpreted Trump’s words as an order to “hang Mike Pence,” it is a potentially lethal position.

She asked him if he was being paid to speak on Trump’s behalf, and he said no, he was a volunteer. He also called Trump’s crimes “a common place nondisclosure agreement.” Paying hush-money to a porn star to keep the public ignorant of his infidelity, quiet before an election to be President of the United States is not a common place NDA. Filing the payment as a campaign expense was not a filing error. Trump is facing charges of financial fraud for using campaign funds to buy silence.

“The Judge donated $35 to Joe Biden’s campaign!” “Judge Merchan’s daughter…” ~All of them

He wasn’t the only republican member of the House of Representatives to do so. Representative Byron Donalds said all the requisite words.

Insurrectionist MAGA Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL/Russia) You remember Tubberville put a cork in military promotions, for months, leaving our national security at risk.

“I’m here today (Courthouse) to Represent and Pay my Respects – it’s a Tough Time for Him! That Courtroom is Depressing – this is New York City – Icon of our Country – and we got a Courtroom – that’s the most Depressing Thing I’ve ever been in! Mental Anguish is trying to be Pushed on the Republican Candidate for President of the United States!” ~Tommy Tuberville

Wrong.

  • Donald Trump is a career criminal, never held accountable.
  • This is the only criminal trial that has repelled attempts to stall the proceedings.
  • That Courtroom is only Depressing to the small but vocal MAGA faction.

Burgum, Tuberville, Johnson, and the others are serving as ventriloquist dummies, repeating every word spoken by Trump that resulted in a gag order. They are keeping trump‘s baseless against prosecutors, judges, and witnesses alive. They are attempting to sway the jury on Trump‘s behalf.

Had word gotten out that Trump engaged in a brief sex act with another woman while his wife nursed their newborn son, would it have been food for thought for his voters in 2016? He considered it would. My opinion, based on the release of the access Hollywood tape was made public before the election, is that those who voted for him were not concerned about his disrespect and abuse of women.

The woman who goes by the stage name, Stormy Daniels, testified. During an interview later that day, she said the sex was non-consensual, then clarified, she did not consent to it, adding she did not consider it rape. It says more about her life experiences than about what actually happened.

This trial is not about a salacious sexual encounter; it’s about financial fraud.

Meanwhile the Republican agenda continues. Oil billionaires Harold Hamm and Kelcy Warren are hosting a fundraiser lunch for Trump in Texas next week. It is invitation only. Hamm helped orchestrate the dinner that will be held at Mar-a-Lago. Trump asks oil executives to raise $1 billion for him, calling it a “deal.”

Even Mitt Romney, that jackass who said the ‘American people want to see Donald Trump pardoned,’ spoke out against the GOP sycophants who made their way to New York this week.

GOP spectators attending court in New York today.

This a is Trump’s way of ignoring the gag order. I don’t believe Americans would like to see Donald Trump pardoned. The oft repeated phrase, ‘no one is above the law’ should be proven true.

      1. I wondered where our boy, Matt Gaetz, was and sure enough–he showed up today. Standing by his man. Which is more than you can say for Donnie’s family.
