I find it beneficial to have a minimal understanding of a wide range of subjects. I spent today delving into entomology. Everything with me is on a need to know basis. Given that the limited scope for safe topics of conversation has dwindled to weather and cicadas, my destination for enlightenment is to prepare for the impending invasion of cicadas.
From floods, tornadoes, fires, landslides, earthquakes, republicans, and the 17-year cicadas, it seems like the end is near, doesn’t it? It’s just me, or are we in the Book of Revelations?
No need to panic. I felt the same way when George W. Bush was president.

After just a few minutes of reading bug words, I find I a wrong. I often am.
The Bible calls cicada’s song “a joyful celebration of their long-overdue freedom and liberation.” Some species endure a two-year subterranean sojourn before surfacing, while others opt for a marathon stint of 15 to 17 years underground. Any day now both varieties will take flight. As with everything in life, the world is what you make it, perception is everything. Cicadas won’t be dive-bomb your head, they will serenade you.

Art is subjective, to be interpreted by the eye of the beholder. I’m free to observe it as I wish. This is what I see: It is a Hellscape of Chucky-3 with a monarch butterfly near his shoulder. He is burning down the house of Windsor and he is the end of the dynasty.
That isn’t his fault alone. Where is Kate Middleton? She hasn’t been seen since Christmas. Every failed attempt to offer proof of life, including the “I’m having preventative chemotherapy” clip, has proven to be computer-generated imagery, artificial intelligence. That, or paid actors. Why the silence?
There has been no investigation into the suspicious death on February 25 of Thomas Kingston. Why?

I suspect Kate and Thomas met the same fate. The cancer tape set the groundwork for an inevitable announcement that she passed away from her illness. I believe we are watching the end of the monarchy. But like I said at the beginning of this post, I’m almost always wrong. And I hope I am.
