Trump Violates His Conditions of Release… Again

This threat against President Biden, like those against prosecutors and judges as well as their families and office personnel, should be enough to deprive Trump of his freedom. His goal is to incite a mob to violence, again. He still wants to overthrow the government.

Trump aspires to be Hitler 2.0. His first wife told us so in her autobiography. I’m talking about Ivana, the wife dead and buried under the weeds of his golf course. She said he kept a copy of Hitler’s book ‘Mein Kampf’ on his bedside table. Trump has likely never read any other book, but seems to have studied that one. He has mimicked Hitler’s ideologies, speeches, and tactics. His ignorance has been neutralized by his allegiance to Putin.

Hitler attempted to take over the Germany the first time in 1923. He had the assistance of right-wing members of the army and the Nazi Party, but was foiled by the government. Hitler was charged and convicted of high treason, and sentenced to five years in prison. Despite that, he was free in nine months. None of his time spent in litigation, or confinement was wasted. The investigation provided him with the publicity he needed to capitalize on the post WW1 economic downturn. He used hyperinflation and racism as tools to win over discontented citizens. During his nine-month incarceration, Hitler dictated Mein Kampf to two fellow prisoners. His demagoguery found a following and his political power throughout Germany grew steadily. Within eight years of his release, he had taken control of Germany.

Donald Trump is desperate to emulate his hero. He repeats Hitler’s speeches as closely as a marble mouthed, enfeebled man-cow can.

Comparing Trump to Hitler brings us to the 1923 phase of Hitler’s history, his public trial. Trump has been given a long leash, long enough to hang himself. However, he has been allowed to dox and threaten everyone, and their families, for taking him to task for his crimes. He tossed his name in the hat for the 2024 election, initially for the purpose of avoiding consequences for his lifetime criminality. He’s been crying “election interference” ever since. Consequences have been chasing him since the Steele dossier was disclosed in 2016.

From his first day in office, he placed his iconoclastic mob friends in positions of government where each might do the most harm. He poured sugar in the engine of our government. The damage has not all been reversed.

For example:

• Louis DeJoy is still the Postmaster General,
• Christopher Wray is still the head of the FBI,
• The three extremists seated in the SCOTUS during his single presidential term have tipped the balance of power, and there are only two ways to overcome that challenge. The easiest would be to increase the number of justices, but even that can’t be done until democrats have a clear majority in both branches of congress. The less likely scenario to restore courts to mirror public ideals would be impeachment. There are too many variables to make that realistic.

HAPPENING NOW: All GOP but Graham walks out on Senate Judiciary Committee meeting as subpoenas to Leonard Leo and Harlan Crow are debated. GOP also invoked 2-hour rule to end the meeting. Fair amount of procedural chaos ensues.

• In his single term, Trump appointed 226 federal judges. Florida’s Judge, Cannon shows us why that is dangerous. She has dragged her feet with the stolen top secret security files found in Mar-a-Lago.

Trump’s threat, at the top of this post implies that President Biden has ordered the DOJ to charge his GOP opponent. Biden is not investigating Trump’s crime spree; the DOJ, FBI, and State prosecutors are seeking justice. Trump lies, and knows his words have consequences. The attack on Paul Pelosi is just one example. Trump has set his Republican minions in Congress to go after President Biden and his family. He has incited his fan base, and they have directed threats at every name Trump has denigrated during his rallies.

The gag order in place has done nothing. How many extra last warnings will he be allowed? He will never stop. He’s proven as much. It is time to mute him by putting him in prison, without internet access, pending trial.

Trump is the first President in history to have been impeached twice. The court has said he’s liable for fraud and sexual abuse, and they have charged him with 91 felonies. Despite all that, he has the GOP endorsement and is polling in numbers that make him look like a contender. No other president has a criminal record, but he has been treated by news reports as if he were any other candidate. Whether it’s propaganda or lying by omission, the media offers him validity he does not deserve. We can, and should, blame the media for the anger in Trump’s fan base.

Trump led an attempt to overthrow the government. Amendment 14, section 3, of the Constitution says anyone involved in an insurrection is disqualified from ever being a member of congress or president. Do Republicans have immunity?

I can offer an explanation for Trump’s treatment by media outlets. 90% of the news media is controlled by six corporations, all headed by Trump-loving billionaire CEOs. Which explains their reluctance to report President Joe Biden’s accomplishments. I don’t have any idea how we can fix this.
