Highlighting one of the drawbacks of living an isolated life, the above quote holds a different meaning if your name is Mister Donald Trump.
Trump has been exposed for falsely reporting his height and weight. However, where that man is concerned, there will always be more lies.
We have commented on the big toothy grin in the mugshot of Jenna Ellis. She looks as if she stopped for happy hour cocktails on the way to the courthouse. My daughter ( Thing-2) asked if I thought Trump would smile for his photo, and I said no, he’d scowl to appear as menacing as possible.
Soon after that conversation, Mister Donald Trump posted the following on Truth Social. Take a close look at the mugshot he leaked, preempting the mugshot release by Georgia officials.

Compare the emblem in Trump’s mugshot to those of his co-defendants. The symbol is too small.
The reason for the discrepancy is, like his self reported height and weight, the mugshot Trump released is fake.
Trump always has to control the narrative. He prefers the posed airbrushed photo on the left, and since he preempted the release of the authentic mugshot on the right, the one he created will be in the history books.
It’s just a picture, but I’m tired of the lies. This is the same tactic Bill Barr used, releasing his three-page version of the Mueller report, withholding the original information until the public lost interest.

The irony is under the photo. Trump has chosen the catchphrase “Never Surrender.” So far, he has surrendered four times.
At least three more indictments loom from the state of New York and Jack Smith.
