This public service announcement is alarming, but it is the same active shooter drills children are subjected to regularly. The insane truth is that because mass shootings have become a daily occurrence they are part of life in the U.S.
How did we get here? Gun lobbyists supplement the income of our “pro-life” politicians, GOP =guns over people. Until we take the money out of politics, nothing will change. Guns have more rights than women. The U.S. is a war-zone.
Other countries have issued travel advisories warning their citizens to avoid the U.S. because of this insanity. We are not safe. Our children are not protected. This may be our new reality, but that doesn’t make it normal or necessary.

Vote with your vacation dollars as well: skip Texas, Florida and other “stand your ground” states. I also skip states that are hostile to the LGB community.
