Three Ways to Escape

The Bermuda Triangle of electronics is at my disposal:

1) The Anywhere Door, I could step through it and end up anywhere I want. Where would I go? I could use it to find a bathroom, my bedroom, possibly the Metropolitan Opera House to see “The Barber of Seville”, the Louvre, the Coliseum, a bathroom, my bedroom… The thing I like about doors, and I learned this from my teenaged girls, is that you can slam them…hard whenever anything irks you. I see the possibilities, but what are the other choices?

2) The old fashioned Time Machine is side two of said triangular morning choices. I’ve always wanted to go back to see for myself what went on in the times of King Edward IV and his bro’s, what really was the deal with Richard? Who wouldn’t want to be there when Henry VIII meets Ann Boelyn? What about the raunchy monarch Charles II? I could go back to the 1950’s to see if my parents really did walk 4 miles to school barefoot in the snow uphill both ways…liars!!

3) An Invisibility Helmet closes up the triangle. Interesting that it isn’t an invisibility cloak. Does this mean that a headless being with my unfortunate assets will roam the earth? I think a cloak would be more effective, and it would wreak less havoc on my hair.

I guess the real choice here is: from what would I most like to escape?  Is it my location, my times, or myself that causes me the most pain?
Traveling without the hassles of traveling is an interesting concept, but the dokodemo door wouldn’t be my first choice.
I have fantasized often about a time machine, but the reality is that I go back in time whenever I want to: I open a book and read.
An invisibility helmet/cloak could be most useful for me. I could be on the clock at work (cha-ching), but just try to find me…mwahaha. Who said that?
