Karma, Irony, and Fate

Karma, Irony, and Fate walk into a bar.
The bartender looks at them and says,
“What is this, some kind of joke?
Didn’t I just throw you out?”
They reply, “Exactly.”

Irony

Charlie Kirk, a Trump henchman, had a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University today. The subjects he spoke on ranged from anti-trans to the 2nd Amendment. He was shot and killed. He took one for the team, and Irony was collateral damage.

Charlie Kirk wouldn’t have wanted us to care that a bullet killed anyone. Empathy is icky. I choose to set mine aside in honor of his death.

“I think empathy is a made up New Age term that has done a lot of damage”. -~Charlie Kirk

Karma

When House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband was brutally attacked in their home, with a hammer, Kirk said a “Patriot” should bail him out.

Fate

Media outlets this evening present Charlie Kirk as someone worthy of respect. He was not a good person. While gun violence is unjustifiable, Kirk’s comment, ‘Regrettably, some people will have to die annually for the sake of the 2nd Amendment,’ appears to have tempted fate.

I refuse to honor this horrible person.

Sorry, but not really. I need to end with something sinister. Mussolini said, “Dark humor is like food. Not everyone gets it.” So here it is. 😬 Good luck.

The bartender says,
“One of you will die tonight.”
They all laugh—because they already know who.
