“Let me say to the thousands of Americans who traveled from distant towns and across state lines to be here today… we’re thrilled to have you… “ ~J.D. Vance
My thought—
“So … did you all come in the same car?”

Apparently, they learned nothing from 2017’s ‘biggest crowd ever’ delusion.

You can’t gaslight crowd size in the age of a million cameras.
SOUND UP!
I had planned to post dozens of photos of ‘No King’ protests around the world. I decided not to be redundant; you’ve probably seen enough on social media. I will share this one that captures the essence of the day:

One more:

Have you seen what the Department of Justice put up on their website?

The DOD has posted a Flag Day image with two Russian flags, abutting the gold stars. Pete ‘it’s apple juice’ Hegseth must’ve thought no one would notice. Was this a tipsy texting type of mistake, or the latest move to ease us into Mother Russia’s warm embrace? I’d say the latter. Perhaps he’s vying for a job with RT? (Russian Television)
With all of yesterday’s excitement; rallies, marches, and Trump’s thing, you may have missed the news of political assassinations out of Minnesota. The New York Post (a Rupert Murdoch publication) immediately published a misleading story, but here are the facts. Vance Luther Bolet, a White Christian Nationalist, Republican, Trump supporter, and self-proclaimed “pro-life” extremist with a hit list, posed as law enforcement, broke into two homes, and started checking names off.

Melissa Hortman, a leading Democrat in the Minnesota House, and her husband, Mark, were shot multiple times and did not survive. In a separate attack, Democratic State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were wounded.

That does not make him a Democrat.
Others on the hit-list include: Governor Tim Walz, U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar, U.S. Senator Tina Smith and state Attorney General Keith Ellison. They’re all democrats.
The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward. The Manhunt Continues…

While I was proofreading, news broke that the assailant’s car has been found.

I have one positive story to pass on:
The US appeals court refused to reconsider Trump’s $5 million loss to E. Jean Carroll. Time to pay, Con.

In closing, I hope in the coming years we can find a cure for bone-spurs. (If you know what I mean.😉)
Boelter’s wife was pulled over by police for a few hours. She had a passport, cash, and ammunition with her but, according to the last reports, had not been arrested. That sounds just a bit strange to me.
All that money spent on a parade…for what? There was more on the news about the No Kings events–thankfully.

Minnesota Lawmakers Shooting Suspect Vance Boelter’s Wife Detained After Passport and Weapon Found in Car: Reports
I hope this link works.

It works. There were four people in the car and they had weapons and passports! His wife-
“Jenny is the President and CEO of Praetorian Guard Security alongside her husband, Vance, who is Director of Security Patrols, according to the company’s website.
The website states that Vance was involved with security situations in Eastern Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East, including the Gaza Strip.”
I won’t guess what it is, but there seems to be more to the story.
Thank u!

They had better find this guy soon. How was he not on someone’s radar before this?!

Corrected because I should have had more coffee before responding:
The murders of a state senator and a state house rep would have taken the majority from democrats in Minnesota. The senator and his wife survived.
Your question is a great one.
I may be turning into a conspiracy theorist, but I wonder if he working for someone.
*I corrected my post for today as well.

The police did catch him! We need more info on the wife, though. News last night interviewed his roommate. There is a lot more to learn about this story.

I just saw that! I saw the roomate interview- he confirmed Boetler was MAGA. Republicans are predictably trying to pass him off as a Democrat. He lives in a big house, one over his pay grade. I hope we get the full story.
