I was going to ignore this story, but now The New York Times is reporting:
The suspect in the “attempted assassination” of Donald Trump was charged with “two counts of illegal firearm possession.”
Where is the attempted murder charge? It doesn’t exist because it didn’t happen. No shots were fired.
Fundraising on the “near miss” began within an hour. “I am safe and well,” give me cash.
Trump lost his mind when he lost the debate and twenty minutes later, Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris.

Then J.D. Vance confessed the Haitian pet eating story was a lie. He admits he will say anything for media attention.

A Florida man had a gun, became “another assassination attempt.” Our media will report anything without investigating its veracity. Trump wants to be a martyr (without sacrificing himself) and resume the golf game.
BREAKING: Democrats don’t want Diaper Don dead because he will lose. Independent voters have finally seen his flaws. We want Trump to lose then go to jail. If there is another “assassination attempt” you can be assured the conspirator is not a Democrat.

THEY PLAN TO END OVERTIME PAY and can’t tax what doesn’t exist. GAH! The media can’t be this dense. It has to be intentional disinformation. In the same vein as their promise not to tax tips. Trump wants TIPS GO TO MANAGEMENT.

This one is even more suss than the last one. The timing to change the subject from his crazy debate performance, Shady admitting that they created the story about Haitians, and the juvenile, bat-crap all caps post to a minor social media site professing hate for Ms. Swift is just a little too fortuitous. To my thinking the only question is whether he was in on it (as suggested by the assassination merch) or whether it was one of his real handlers, like Thiel or Roberts behind it.
I just watched a Politicon video by Hugo Lowell (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzSCZTH8SIA) that verified my theory that the whole “THEY’RE EATING THE…” was a manufactured story that they put together to use at the debate. When they do stuff like that it is hard to believe that they wouldn’t stage another attempt.

I just watched that video. It was worth the time. If we all vote Donald Trump is done. We don’t ever have to listen to him again. Okay, yes, I thought that in 2020, so who knows. That’s my hope.

I figure you reap what you sow. But he and his followers don’t put 2 and 2 together and come up with 4. He spews nothing but hate and violence yet doesn’t get it that some people hate him and want to act on that? Yeah, he heard ‘pop, pop, pop.’ Another gunman with poor aim? Even for Florida, this is kind of weird.

Yes, “democrats need to tone down the rhetoric.” But he doesn’t.
No shots were fired, but the media reported the story of “another assassination attempt” without checking sources.
His Secret Service knows what he’s up to. How can they not? Our taxes pay their salaries. That bothers me.

And DeSantis says we (Florida) are going to do our own investigation into this. Why spend our tax dollars on this when the FBI/Secret Service is doing the same damn thing?! That really bothers me.

I could see us going ever so slightly purple. Rick Scott is getting a run for his money with the Dem who is running against him. I so hope she prevails!
And DeSantis is taking heat for his messages about two Amendments on the ballot–marijuana and abortion. It is getting ugly, and I think people realize what is going on with him. WE the people decide. Not the Governor. He does not seem to have gotten that message so it is getting a bit testy over here, but I think the people will prevail. Lydia, at least I hope so. He talks about ‘politicizing and weaponizing’ when it is he that is doing it.

You make an excellent point that reminds me why reporters don’t do some critical thinking and enlighten us about what really happening.
6 billionaires control 90% of the media. They decide what we learn about the world and manipulate how we feel about it. They want Trump in the White House because he’ll give them a tax-free ride.
November 05 is just the beginning; we need to change everything.
