Prison would have provided Kyle with a lifetime supply of food and shelter, but he got away with murder.
Kyle Rittenhouse crossed the Illinois border into Wisconsin, to antagonize Black Lives Matter protesters. Dominic Black, a friend of his in Wisconsin, had purchased for him an AR-15-style rifle because Kyle was not old enough to buy it for himself. The rifle waited for him in Wisconsin.
Kyle raced through the peaceful protest, playing soldier with the rifle strapped on his shoulder. He looked like an active shooter, which prompted a protester, unarmed, to approach him. Kyle “felt threatened,” so he pulled the trigger. He then ran to the police to confess. Law enforcement gave him a bottle of water and told him to run along. Someone else approached him, and Rittenhouse got scared and shot him, as well as a third person who wanted to subdue the gunman, is what he was. No one else fired a gun.
Judge Bruce Schroeder was biased and put his thumb on the scale of justice on Kyle’s behalf. Dominic Black, the friend who purchased his gun, got a plea deal.
Kyle Rittenhouse has never worked. His notoriety made him a small fortune, which he has spent. He is unemployable. Rittenhouse just published a book, but no one is buying it because his fan base doesn’t read. That’s just poor planning.
