Trump is more hated today than he was yesterday. That’s a lot of hate, worldwide.
Here is the bottom line… at the top of the post. Donald Trump, a five-time draft dodging, convicted felon, with a history of sexual assault, surrounded by his team, bullied a war hero, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, on live television. It was theater, performed for Putin. The meeting ended after President Zelenskyy held his ground (thank God) by giving Trump and Putin nothing. The world watched him escorted from the White House. And Trump humiliated us completely.
After Trump failed to secure the steal deal, he urged his minions to praise him on social media: “outstanding leader,” “excellent negotiator,” “magnificent.”
“It was a perfect phone call,” but on live television.
Trump wanted Zelenskyy to apologize. For what, Diaper Don? That request is an example of gaslighting.
Umm, did Zelenskyy utter the word “cyka” to Vance? Many people are saying he did.
I love languages and can swear in several. Just yesterday, I expanded my repertoire to add Russian. Today’s word is “cyka” pronounced ‘suka.’ And if Zelenskyy did say it, he employed it as a complete sentence. I’d like to try it out. I could use it as follows: “Mr. Trump is Putin’s cyka.” (bitch)
I don’t know if you had the displeasure of watching Trump and his crew of cykas (haha, another sentence) bully Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. I held my head and screamed “make it stop.” So I missed some of it.

Marjorie Taylor Green’s boyfriend, dressed in a cheap suit, acting like a reporter told Zelenskyy he was disrespectful because he wasn’t wearing a suit. Zelenskyy replied that he wouldn’t wear that costume until the war was over and then perhaps it would be nicer than his, or maybe cheaper. As great as that reply to the insult is, I believe we gained something in translation. The word costume means suit in several other languages.
The president of Ukraine is a hero. He has witnessed the horrors of war firsthand. When Russia attacked Ukraine three years ago, the U.S. offered to send a plane to help President Zelenskyy escape. He famously replied, “I need ammunition, not a ride.”
Anyone paying attention knows Putin is a war criminal.
I ask this every day. When will we say enough?
The Trump regime has turned our allies into enemies. Ukraine might replace us in NATO, as they should. The EU is vocal in acknowledging the U.S. is a threat. Is this what you voted for?

What Trump did to Zelenskyy yesterday was attempt to extort him. The House of Representatives impeached Trump in 2018 for that same behavior, and Senator Susan Collins did not vote to remove him from office because she said, “he learned a valuable lesson,” and she was mistaken. I’d like to have a strongly worded conversation with her.

That was so horrifying yesterday. So I watched it several times. The ‘suit’ comment at the beginning of the meeting was bad enough but then JD deciding to come out swinging….oh, what a big boy he is. Mario Rubio sits there 1) like a lump or 2) like he wants to be somewhere else and then has the nerve to say Zelenskyy needs to apologize?! Same with Lindsey Graham. Did they see something I didn’t see? Zelenskyy apologize for what? For remaining the only calm one in the bullying session?!
This is beyond awful, Lydia. And then just to prove what a big boy he is, Trump packed up all the boxes that he stole from the WH during his first term and charged the American people millions of dollars to fly his sorry ass back here to Florida.
I am over this. Somebody please declare him unfit for office and LOCK HIM UP. Sound familiar, Donny Boy?

I couldn’t watch all of it; I tried. I just wanted it to stop. I am glad it was televised because who knows what they would have done if there were no witnesses.
Our allies are done with us.
I’ve written and deleted so many responses that probably would have resulted in the FBI knocking on my door.

I saw someone hypothesize that this, horrible as it is, is another distraction. Distraction from the muskrats, distraction from killing medicaid, distraction from …. This barrage of evil is how they will maximize damage because people almost can’t pay attention to everything they need to pay attention to right now. The media has taken this shiny bait. They helped him get elected so that they could cash in on the continuous flow of news he creates. Don’t watch mainstream. I watch Belle of the Ranch (channel used to be Beau of the Fifth Column) for foreign affairs news. She generally waits until there is real information.
